Chapter 4

Louis decided to take the car to school today since he couldn't take any chances on Mark leaving the house drunk again

As he drove to school it began to rain. He quickly turned on the radio because the sound of rain reminded him of sadness which led back to thoughts of his mother

He was about 10 mins away from the school when he saw a familiar looking boy walking alone in the rain

As he drove up to him he realized it was Harry. Louis stopped the car and rolled down his window

"Hey want a ride?" Louis asked

"Um ya I guess" Harry responds opening the passenger door

Harry shook his hair getting water all over Louis

"Oops," Harry said apologetically

"Hi" is all Louis could say smiling like an idiot at Harry

"I'm Harry, Harry Styles," Harry said as he put on his seatbelt

"Louis Tomlinson" Louis said nodding at Harry in recognition

They drove to school in a comfortable silence

Once they arrived at school Harry quickly rushed out and mumbled a thanks

Louis frowned why would Harry walk away. Had he done something wrong?

Just then a tapping on his window was heard. Louis turned to face the Irish boy who was tapping non-stop on the window

Louis shook his head and rolled down his window

"What do you want Niall" Louis asked

"Why was Harry with you?" Niall asked nodding to where Harry was standing.

"I gave him a ride to school," Louis said getting out of the car

"And since when do you have a car?" Niall said patting the car

"I just couldn't let Mark have the car today," Louis said keeping his eyes down

"Why?

"Umm I was tired of riding the bus I mean," Louis said quickly correcting himself

"You selfish hoe," Niall said laughing and shaking his head

Louis laughed along but the laughter didn't reach his eyes. Luckily Niall didn't notice

"Hey so why weren't you here yesterday," Louis said trying to change the topic

"Was busy fucking" Niall responds with a serious face

"What?!" Louis says choking on his own saliva

"Nah I'm just joking!! You should've seen your face, Louis!!" Niall said bursting into a laughing fit

"So then why were you gone," Louis asked again

"I told you I was busy fu-" Niall said still laughing

"Niall answer me with the truth or else I'll tell everyone it was you who ate all the food at Bailey's party," Louis said crossing his arms

"Ok ok," Niall says trying to catch his breath

"I was sick for a while but then I felt better but I still didn't want to come to school so I stayed," Niall says making random arm gestures

"Oh" Louis responds losing all interest in the subject

"Anyway, I'll see you in second period I'm gonna go meet up with Liam alright?" Niall said nodding in Liam's direction

"Ya ok," Louis said looking down
