Rosie's POV

I was perfectly fine sitting in my room reading until Jonathan bursted through the door.

"What the hell, dude, ever heard of knocking!? I could have been naked!"

He mumbled something under his breath with a slight smirk.

I rolled my eyes and snapped my fingers to get his attention. He snapped his head towards me.

"Sorry." He mumbled. "I was going to ask what you want for lunch."

"Anything is fine." I said while turning my attention back to my book."

"Ok." He mumbled.

He didn't make a move to leave my room, he just stood there looking at anything but me.

I've only been living here for two days but I can tell when a person has something on their mind.

And it was clear he wanted to tell me something.

I sighed and put my book down on the side table. I stood up from my bed and walked up to him.

"Ok, what's wrong?" I asked.

"What?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"It's clear you want to tell me something, so what is it?"

"I, um, n-nothing."

"Alright," I said unconvinced.

I low growl erupted from my stomach.

"I'm going to the kitchen." I said to Jonathan before going down the stairs.

I entered the kitchen and opened the fridge.

"Ew, since when are whores allowed in the kitchen!?" A squeaky voice appeared.

I rolled my eyes and closed the fridge.

I was met with Josie's smug little face.

"Ew, I didn't know Satan was allowed in the kitchen." I shot back.

Seriously I don't know how Jonathan talked her into keeping my secret.

She growled. "How dare you! I'm an angel!"

"I'm pretty sure those are devil horns, not a halo."

She growled and stepped closer until a loud voice boomed.

"Josie! Enough!" Jonathan growled.

"She started it!" Josie shrieked.

"I don't care." He said bluntly then turned to me. "Rosie, you can live here but you need to play nice."

I shrugged. "It's not my fault some people can't keep their thoughts to themselves."

Josie growled and lunged at me but Jonathan helps her back.

"I'm going for a walk." I said before walked towards the back door. "Maybe when I get back Beast will calm down."

I opened the sliding door and was about to walk out until a loud growl filled the air.

It wasn't a normal human growl it sounded more like an animal.

I turned around and the sight of Josie made my eyes widen.

Her eyes were glowing an unusual yellow color.

The sound of bones cracking echoed.

Soon Josie was gone and a reddish brown wolf took her place.
