I awoke in the middle of the night to the sound of someone screaming.

"No, no, NO! STOP! PLEASE! DON'T HURT HER! STOP!"

I sat bolt upright. The screaming stopped, and I waited sitting on my bed, ready to move. My hand was already creeping toward my wand on the night table next to me.

In replace of the screaming, the sounds of sobbing came through my door. I jumped out of bed, snatching up my wand and rushing to the sound of the crying. It led me straight to Draco's room. I gently knocked and walked in, not waiting for a response.

Draco was sat up in bed with his hands over his eyes and his knees drawn up to his chest. I rushed over to the side of the bed and hopped in, taking his hands away from his face, the contact making him flinch. The moonlight shone on his face revealing his puffy red eyes. I took his head and put it on my shoulder, slowly rocking us.

"Shh, shh, you're ok, Voldemort isn't coming back, I promise," I whispered as I pet his head gently.

"Hazel don't say his name!" Draco cried, burying himself deeper in my arms. He continued to shake in my arms, and we stayed in that position until his crying subsided. "Hazel.. ." Draco hummed sleepily.

"What was your nightmare about?" I asked cautiously. He pulled away slightly and glanced up at me. "You can tell me." I grabbed his hand.

"It was about you." He replied.

"And?" I asked gently.

"And, I had to watch him torture you until you died," Draco shuddered, his voice hoarse.

"Oh, Draco, it's okay. I'm okay." I responded, putting my hand up to the side of his face. He nodded. "I'll stay here tonight, but we need to sleep. We have a full day of classes in the morning."

Draco sniffed and nodded again, fixing the duvet over us. I helped and lied down, so we faced each other. He still seemed scared, so I moved over the wrap my arms around him, kissing him on the forehead and placing my chin on top of his platinum blond hair. We intertwined our legs and I got scared he could feel my heart thumping against my chest. He nuzzled himself into my neck as we fell into a peaceful sleep.

. . .

The next morning, I found myself in the exact position I was in when I fell asleep. The sun was shining through the window. Slowly, I slipped out of Draco's grasp, desperately trying not to wake him up. Once I was out, I made my way to my room and began to pick out my uniform then head to the bathroom. I was excited to use my new bottle of coconut shampoo after my other one ran out. I exited the room and saw Draco leaving his room.

"Morning," I said drowsily.

"Morning" he replied.

I blinked and looked at him again. In his hand was his neatly folded uniform. He's headed to the bathroom. I glanced at the clothes in his arms to his face. He was doing the same as me. Suddenly, we both sprinted to the door, but I pulled out my wand and yelled, "Rictusempra!"

Draco stopped in his tracks and fell to the floor laughing. I reached the door to the bathroom and turned around. "I'm sorry Draco!" I exclaimed as I ran into the bathroom. I closed the door behind just as Draco began to stand up. I heard him knock on the door.

"I get it tomorrow!" he shouted before his footsteps retreated.

I laughed and began getting ready for my day.

. . .

After the both of us had gotten ready, we headed down to the Great Hall together. Sitting down at the Slytherin table, I caught up with old friends such as Blaise and Theo.
