"What the hell was that about? How do you know her?" I asked them.

My mother sighed. "Annelise- Sydney, about four years ago she was dating a young gang leader from Chicago, Dante Summers."

"Then why did you call her Annelise di Medici?"

"Annelise is her middle name and di' Medici was her mother's maiden name. Dante made her go by that." said my mother.

"Then why did you say all those horrible things about her?" I asked my dad.

He scoffs at me. "Because she may have been with Summers but she fuck almost everyone in any gang." that's what she meant by other gang leaders.

I was about to ask more when Chris came up to me. "Boss we have a problem."

"What?" I asked him.

"Syd, she's with Jackson Gray." I ran with Chris where I found Jackson and Amelia talking to Sydney.

"Get away from her, Jackson. Sydney come here!" I held out my hand.

"Jason i-" she started but she was cut off by Amelia stepping in front of her protectively.

"Jason King, it's a... honor to have you here," said Jackson.

"Give her to me Jackson, or this won't be much of a peace party anymore," I growled. By now we already have people surrounding us from other gangs. Sean and Chris had made their way next to me with Sam and Madi behind them.

"Now now calm down King. Syd here tells me you bought her, is this correct?" he asked.

I glared at him. "Yes, now give her to me."

"Well if that's the case, I'll pay double whatever you paid for her. Triple if I have to." she looked at me with hope in her eyes.

"She's not for sale," I growled. "Now either you give her to me or I'll take her from you."

She stepped out from behind Amelia and walked in between them. "Jason please," she whispered.

I grabbed her arm tight. "How many times do I have to tell you that you are mine," I growled low at her.

she pulled her arm from my grip and glared at me. "I'm not yours. Never have been and I never will," she growled back.

My blood was practically boiling as I brought my hand up and slapped her across the face, causing her to fall to the ground. She touched her cheek and looked up at me shocked and with fear in her eyes. I saw that fear and my face filled up with guilt and I tried to step over to her. "Shit princess i-"

I was cut off by Jackson and Amelia pointing guns at me followed by members of the vipers doing same and Sean and Chris pointing theirs at them. "Step away from her or you'll have a bullet through your skull," growled Amelia. I backed away as Amelia helped Sydney up. She grabbed Jackson free hand while still holding Amelia's.

"I think it's time for you guys to leave," said Jackson.

"I'm not leaving without her." I glared at Jackson. I turned to Sydney and my face softened. "Sydney I'm sorry. Please come with me,"I asked calmly. She shook her head no. I sighed. I didn't want it to come to this but I knew one way to get her to come back to me. "Sydney if you don't come now... I won't be able to keep my promise."

She opened her mouth in shock. "You wouldn't. You can't."

"I will." was all I said as I extended my arm.

"Fine," she said gritting her teeth.

"Sydney no," said Jackson.

"Let me stay the night." she began.

"No." I cut her off.

"Let me stay the night and in the morning I will come back with you and... I won't complain or try to leave... I'll be yours." she said reluctantly.

"Alright, one night," I said. I turned to Madi and whispered in her ear. "Bring her some clothes for the night." she nodded and walked to the front door. I took a glance at Sydney as she left with Jackson and Amelia before I left with Chris, Sean, and Sam.

Chris was about to leave with us when he stopped. "Let me stay with Sydney tonight," he said.

"Chris-"I started.

"I wasn't asking, sir" I nodded letting him go. He walked back to the house as we walked to the car. We went back to the house and I went straight to sleep.

Something's going on with her. Her secrets are piling up and I'm going to get to the bottom of them...
