I walk outside and see snow covering the ground. I remember the times my mom made snowmen with me. We would run around and throw snowballs at each other. I remember the photos in the stairs of my mom and me playing in the snow.

As I continue to walk around, I start feeling cold. I start to shiver.

"Y/N, are you cold?" Mr. Virgil asks.

I nod, still shivering.

Mr. Virgil then takes off the hoodie he was wearing and puts it on me. "Here you go, Y/N. Wouldn't want you to get sick, would we?"

"Will you be ok, Mr. Virgil? I don't want you to be cold because of me." I say, concerned.

"AWWWW! That's so cute!" Mr. Patton says enthusiastically. He starts freaking out.

"Patton," Mr. Logan says. "Calm yourself."

I put on the hoodie, and realize that it's super big on me. My arms only go halfway through the sleeves, and it feels like I'm wearing a dress.

I finally take a second to look around me. The snow is so sparkly and white, and the clouds are a blue-grey colour. The sun isn't out, but you can see as if it were.

Thomas POV

Y/N looks so happy. I watch as she rolls around in the snow and dances around. She looks so cute in Virgil's hoodie.

"It is a spectacular display of light, isn't it Thomas?" Roman asks.

"It most certainly is. The fact that during each snowfall, the crystallized water goes through many changes in atmosphere, causing each individual snowflake to have a different design. It's absolutely fascinating!" Logan says.

"IT LOOKS SO FLUFFY!" Patton shouts.

"Y/N looks so happy." Virgil says, appearing right beside me. "I hope she feels better soon. She's too pure of a soul to be depressed at three years old."

I sigh. "I have hope. She seems happy right now. I hope it stays that way." I walk over to Y/N and bend down to her height. "Ready for your first trip into the town? I hear that they're selling hot chocolate at the ice skating rink. How about it?"

Her E/C (eye colour) eyes sparkle with excitement. "Yes, yes, yes! Umm... Mr. Thomas? What's ice skating?"

Logan steps in to explain. "Essentially, it is when you wear special boots with blade like objects on the bottoms, and you glide across a body of frozen water."

"You can do all sorts of tricks and look like the fabulous young princess you are!" Roman says rather passionately.

"Just don't SLIP up! Haha. Be careful out there kiddo, this is your first time and we want you to stay safe from all distrICE (A/N: like the word distress but different. I love bad puns. I'm sorry. I'm going to finish the chapter now.)" Patton says.

"Districe? What does that even-? Oh, Patton. You just- ugh." Logan says, at a loss for words.

Y/N giggles.

"So, who wants to be the one out in public with Y/N today? We can't ALL be out at once, so only one of us should be out at once." I say, as I almost forgot.

"Well, I think it should be me!" Roman says. "I can teach her how to look fabulous and help her show up all the other kids on the rink. I can help her be fabulous out there on her first day!"

"Well, the logical thing to do is put me in charge so I can keep Y/N's well being in check at all times." Logan interjects.

"Maybe it should be me! I can keep her safe and have fun with her at the same time!" Patton says. "I CAN TEACH HER TO PLAY PATTON CAKE TOO!"
