"You are not becoming a nun!"

Buffy couldn't help but wince at the banshee-like scream coming from her cousin.

Elena definitely had some pipes on her for sure.

Buffy just pouted slightly. Her patrol last night had left her in a positive mood and now Elena was totally raining down on her parade "And why not?" She questioned as she continued to move around the living room, collecting her books and shoving them into her bag "I spoke to one of the nuns, she was really nice. I get I'm not super religious but they have good food."

Processing her elder cousin's words, Elena dropped the textbooks in her arms, letting them crumble to the ground as she immediately walked straight over to Buffy.

Elena pressed the back of her hand against the blonde's forehead.

Frowning in confusion, Buffy couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow as she stared at her cousin completely dumbfounded.

Elena was so weird sometimes.

"What are you doing?"

"Checking for a fever."

Rolling her eyes, Buffy shook Elena's hand off her before grabbing her bag and shoving Elena her own bag "I'm not sick. I just think it would be an interesting opportunity."

Elena couldn't help but stare at Buffy with wide eyes.

Buffy was seriously losing her mind, and to be honest, as much as she knew she shouldn't she couldn't hold back the bubble of laughter that escaped her lips.

Glaring at her now laughing cousin, Buffy groaned and tossed Elena's jacket at her head hoping to silence the brunette.

Yet the laughter continued.

Sighing Buffy shook her head in annoyance before moving over to the front door and glancing up at the staircase "Jeremy!" She exclaimed trying to draw the youngest member of their family's attention "Come on we're leaving! If you don't want to take the bus for the rest of the year get moving!"

As the laughter finally dissipated, Jeremy finally made his appearance, begrudgingly stomping down the stairs in a small huff "I don't see why we have to do this."

He had thought that he was done with these 5 am workouts when Buffy disappeared.

Crossing her arms over her chest, Buffy merely glared at him, narrowing her gaze, causing him to gulp ever so slightly.

"Because I can't be around you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I'm not some super-speedster person from a comic book. So you need to know how to protect yourself."

Pausing slightly in her words, a wicked teasing grin covered her lips as she eyed her youngest cousin.

She knew exactly what to say to get him to do this training session.

"Plus I've seen you fight. You really need to learn. Hell, Elena could most probably kick your ass."

With that, Buffy smirked slightly before heading straight out the front door while Elena followed after her snorting in amusement.

Jeremy couldn't help but stare in disbelief, that was so not true "Hey!" He exclaimed as he quickly rushed after the girls "She could not!"
