"i came this morning." i lied, unsure of the reason behind my untruthfulness
kenzie nodded, but she looked suspicious, so i changed the topic by answering her other question, about the time.
i could sense an awkward silence about to settle, but just then annnie, lauren and maddie burst in, with bags of food from chipotle.
kenzie finished her meal first, which was pretty cruel, seeing as that was my talent, but it shouldn't count because like...she hasn't eaten in two days.
just as we all packed away our garbage, a doctor came and shooed us all out.
now that kenzie was better, i felt easier leaving the hospital, and so lauren, annie and i walked out together.
the we're going out somewhere, but i decided to head home, so waving goodbye, we parted ways.
the first thing i did upon arriving home was shower — it stinks not having a shower for two days straight.
once i was done, i grabbed my phone from where i had left it to charge and flopped down on my bed.
i went on to instagram, and decided to post something for mackenzie. we didn't have any recent pictures, so i scrolled for a while until i reached the pictures from when we were really dating.
i posted it and almost immediately people began liking and commenting.
