"Hello?"

"I gave you twenty-four hours to call me back and you didn't."

"Oh it's you. Well, hello stranger."

"Twenty-four hours lady. I need your insurance information and I needed it yesterday."

"Right, of course. Just . . . hold a sec and let me grab my purse . . . I would just like to say in my defense, I did not hang up on you on purpose."

"Sure you didn't. Just like you didn't mean to run after hitting my car, right?"

"I . . . I had somewhere to be - oh crap. Crap. Crap. Crap."

"Problem?"

"My insurance card is in my car."

"So go get it."

"I can't. It's not here. It's - itsatthebodyshop."

"It's what?"

"It's at the body shop."

"Your car is getting repaired and freshly painted while I have to hold my door shut when I drive?!"

"The damage wasn't that bad and why are you yelling at me?"

"Because I'm pissed off! I want my car fixed and you're giving me the run around."

"I'm not giving you the run around, I swear. I really don't have my insurance card and the only reason my car is in the shop is because my uncle owns it and it was about to get towed."

" . . . . "

"I can give you his number if you'd like."

" . . . . "

"He does really good body work."

" . . . . "

"Hello?"

"Hello?"

"Did he just hang up on me?"
