Brooklyn doesn't have it easy.
Living with parents who are struggling financially and constantly arguing isn't the easier thing in the
world. If it wasn't for her best friend Dakota, Brooklyn wouldn't know what she'd do. Because her parents don't have the best of jobs, they're always at each other's throat. One day Brooklyn comes home from school to find her parents fighting once again, but it seems this time it's worse than others.
Not for the first time, she leaves the house and stays at her best friend Dakota's place. Things take a
turn for the worse when she's walking to her best friend's house and gets pulled into an alley.
So what happens when the famous CEO Jaxon Black saves her from something that could possibly have traumatized her for the rest of her life?
