Willow was in a hurry, as she scurried down the sidewalk towards the small coffee shop across the street. She raised her wrist up to her face and checked the time on her watch.

"Ten minutes!" She shrieked and hustled down the street faster. She came to the crosswalk, looking both ways before running to the other side.

She was late for her job at the flower shop that was two blocks away. She knew that her boss, Kathy, wouldn't mind her being late at all. But she didn't want to take advantage of her kindness. She was always on time for work, and she did not want to break that streak. But damn, if she didn't need her coffee in the morning. She always manages to make time for a little espresso in the morning before work - but today, her alarm clock decided to not go off which completely interfered with her usual routine.

"Yes!" She cheered by herself, pulling the handle to open the door and walked inside. She ignored the weird stares the people around her gave her at her little outburst and walked behind the person that was in line.

Let them look, she didn't care. She was happy she was finally getting to get a sip of that delicious Carmel espresso. She was also really glad that there was only one person in front of her because she didn't have the time to wait behind a long line.

It was finally her turn. She couldn't keep the grin off of her face as she stepped forward to the counter. She told the barista her order and waited for the amount - which was the same every time.

After punching in her order, the barista turned towards an excited Willow and lightly chuckled. "That'll be 3.24," He held out his hand and she placed the exact amount in his palm.

After giving her the printed receipt, she moved to the side and waited for her medium sized caramel espresso.

"Mike!" A person called behind the counter and slid a drink over the counter with a straw on top. Willow stepped to the side to allow the person to get his drink, then moved back to her position. That was the guy that was in front of her. Any minute now she was going to get her drink and she couldn't wait.

"Willow!" The person called out and she grinned once again. She bit her lip in excitement and happily took her drink away from the chuckling worker who found her excited expression amusing.

Willow struck the blue straw in the hole in the middle of her drink and begin to sip away. She hummed in delight and walked out of the coffee shop. She turned towards the crosswalk and quickly ran across once she checked both ways and found no cars coming.

She was about to make a left down the sidewalk when she was struck back by a very strong chest. Her nose suffered the strike, causing it to sting. She quickly cradled her nose with both hands, forgetting about the Carmel espresso in her hands. She heard it before she saw it. The sound of the cup crashing into the ground and the splashing of the drink.

She blinked her eyes to get rid of the tears that she were caused from the stinging of her nose and looked down at the mess she made.

She pouted, her stinging nose forgotten and bent down to collect her drink. It was then she had noticed the stained bottom of black slacks and the remnants of her drink splashed all over very expensive looking dress shoes.

Once she gathered her cup, she stood back up and glared up at the man who was glaring right back down at her.

"Don't you know how to walk properly? Watch where you're—," he got cut off by Willow jabbing her finger in his face.

"You!" She exclaimed, still glaring up at him. She didn't even notice how handsome he was, or how tall he was compared to her and how she has to lightly crane her neck to look up at him. "You spilled my Carmel espresso!" She accused him.

Taken back by being cut off, he looked down at her and couldn't help but notice just how strikingly beautiful she was. But nonetheless, beautiful or not she disrespected him and dropped coffee all over his very expensive shoes and slacks. He clenched his jaw and furrowed his eyebrows. "Me? Me! No, it was you. You clearly don't see where you're going and you just happen to get my favorite shoes and pants stained because you couldn't pay attention to the other people around you. What do you have to say for yourself?" He accused her right back, glaring at the short woman before him.

What she said next had him shocked beyond belief and left gaping down at her.

"I say it serves you right! You butthole! You owe me another drink!"

Snapping himself out of shock, he felt her bump her shoulder into his stomach and walk right past him. He lightly stumbled back just because he was so shocked at her outburst. He heard walk down the sidewalk mumbling to herself about how he was the cause of her spilt coffee.

He saw her turn down the street and disappear behind a building. He was still standing there shocked, and slightly confused. 'What the hell just happened'.. he thought to himself. 'She spills her coffee on me and tells me it's my fault and that it serves me right for spilling her drink...what the hell.'

'A little spitfire..' he quickly collected himself and called for his driver. How ironic is it the one day he decided to take a walk to the coffee shop because he needed some air, is the same day this little spitfire of a woman spills coffee all over him and tells him it's his fault.

You owe me another drink! He scoffed and rolled his eyes. 'As if..' he thought. She can buy herself another drink.

He saw the tinted black SUV pull up to the curb where he was standing at waiting. The driver got out and opened the door for him and he got inside.

"Where to sir?" The driver asked through the rear view mirror.

"Penthouse," he replied back. The driver and nodded and started the car. Thanks to that little annoying spitfire, he now needed to go back and change into a new suit with a new pair of shoes - making him late for a meeting he had scheduled. He typed out an email to his assistant notifying her of how he is going to be late.

He didn't care if he was late or not, he was the boss. He just didn't like going off schedule but shit happens.

"Oh and make a quick stop to the coffee shop on Third before going to the office," he informed his driver who nodded.
