Well Norma came back for good now. She enrolled to UC Burly to study sport Psychology. Interesting career. I'm surprised she totally contradicted her parents and came back. From what she told me, her grandmother is helping her with the tuition. Her parents completely outcasted her and now she's living in an apartment near the school that her grandmother too is helping pay. She is currently working at my favorite Japanese restaurant since she can speak fluent Japanese too.
But the other reason why she came because she wanted to be with Erix. I guess that's off her list because when she went to visit him not to long ago. He was in his dorm with another girl. Ray was in the living room of his dorm and hell how surprised he was Norma told me. Well, Norma didn't know where else to go so she came here to see me. How can I fix this? I'm super happy that she's back! The only good thing that has happened to me in a long time! How can I tell her to go back? She can't. She should stay here and study Sport Psychology. I can see her doing that.
I made her some breakfast, pancakes, eggs, wheat bread and a sausage. She ate slowly but she did finish her plate. I checked my phone constantly to see if Erix would call or text but so far nothing. Just a text from Angie telling me that Gabe got a new phone. Lucky bastard.
"I should get going." Norma said. Lucky walked up to her and sat staring at her. "Um, your dog is looking at me."
"Lucky loves getting pet. Just pet him he won't do a thing." Norma was never a fan of dogs because of her traumatic encounter she had with a pit bull when she was little. She slowly petted Lucky and he jumped on her licking her cheek. He made her laugh. Good boy.
"Lucky isn't?" She looked at me.
"My uncle gave him to me. He's a service dog too."
"You must be trained. Now down boy." Lucky sat back down.
"It's great seeing you. You got prettier." Norma blushed.
"Don't lie. I let my hair grow out plus I gained a lot of weight due to all the deserts after dinner." She said bashfully.
"You looked better though. Your hair is layered up, long and straight. Plus you don't look fat, you look full in color if you know what I mean."
"Thank you Ebony." Norma said. "And you too look different from the last time I saw you. Could it be senior year is changing you?"
"What do you mean?"
"Oh come on deary. You hair is longer, your bangs keep making you look cuter, you look fuller and braver that I have ever seen you. I don't even see the baby face anymore." She caressed my cheek. "I miss you tons!"
"I missed you too Norma."
"Norma?" We turned around and there was Erix standing down at the hallway. I got up ready to push him away just in case. Norma got up trying to swallow up her anger.
"Um hey Erix. This is not the time, uh, you-"
"It's okay Eba dear." Norma held up her hand in protest. She walked up to Erix with a smile and bam! She slapped him! I could of sworn I yelp and made a simple Oo!
"You son of a bitch! Which sadly you are! What the fuck!"
"I can explain!" There. That boy got another slap. I had to hold on to the table. This was getting intense too quickly.
"Explain what? Explain that you had a hell of a night and slept with a whore?"
"What? No-" Erix took a step back just in case Norma slapped him again.
"Shut up!" Norma took a deep breath. " I thought it'd be a good idea to surprise you and be like 'Oh hey! I came back!' But no! I got the complete opposite!"
