Poem 77

Don't remember where we started,

Don't know where we'll end.

I wanted to be more than just a friend,

Was it a fun game to play with my heart?

Was shattering it your favorite part?

All I ever wanted was to fall in love so deep,

Stayed up thinking of you, I can't fall sleep.

I don't want this love if it hurts in this way,

It's making my heart ache every single day.

I don't see the stars that used to light up the sky,

I should've listened to my mind when it said, "love is a lie"

But as foolish as I am, I listened to my heart,

Now I'm in tears and it's is tearing me apart.
