Saturday came by very quickly. Angie came by my house to change. We just wore our jeans and shirts along with our sweaters. Erix wasn't home to tell him I was going over to Holly's but I just hoped I'd be home before he comes home. Angie and I made our way towards her car and picked up Gabe along the way. It wasn't a long ride to Holly's house. If anything, it was hard looking for parking. We had to walk about two blocks in order to get inside the party. There were tons of people in there. Even some freshmen in College. I doubt Erix was here. He never liked Holly.
Josh was there, he had saved us a table just for us and Brandon and Tomas. Pam wasn't coming. She wasn't coming because she did not want to see Kaya and allow Kaya embarrass Brandon. Brandon on the other hand kept looking around in the crowd looking for her. I placed my hand on his shoulder and shook my head.
"She has a family dinner." I lied. Brandon nodded sadly and went to talk to Tomas.
I began to look around and saw many people just having a great time. One thing that surprised me was that Kaya wasn't next to Xavier at all. Xavier was all the way on the far end of the pool talking to Tyson and Julian along with one guy I have never seen before. According to Gabe that's Kevin.
Angie and I started to walk around the pool just watching everyone and commenting on how big Holly's backyard was. Who knew Holly had that kind of money. Well she does have money, her family, but not as much as we suspected her to. I've been to her house just not inside and her backyard.
I have no idea how it started but when I looked up Xavier punched Tyson. I saw blood drip down his nose and Xavier was breathing like crazy, like a man bull aiming towards the red dot.
"So you lied to me?" Xavier asked.
"I had to." Tyson said as he struggled to get up. That punch must had affected his balance.
"She was telling me the truth all along? And you allowed all of this to happen?"
"I wasn't thinking man. I know I'm not expecting for you to accept my apology."
"Hell no." Xavier grabbed his head in frustration. "I thought you were..." He let out a sigh. Why was I standing there doing nothing. I looked over to Angie and she only had her mouth covered.
"Sorry man. What else can I say? I was thinking only about myself." Tyson said, cleaning his nose with his sleeve.
"Ebony, Josh, and Gabe were right about you. I should of never trusted you." Xavier looked over Tyson and looked at me. I only smiled. I hoped I didn't look stupid.
"Yeah." Tyson held up his arms as in surrender. That seemed to irritate Xavier because he let out another punch. Kaya was now next to me with a smile on her face.
"I told you I don't regret anything. Well this party is lame." She said and just before she left, I grabbed her arm. "What is it Ebony? Don't you understand what just happened? Xavier's yours now, he believes you, Tyson is an ass so you won."
"I....what? Kaya?"
"I changed my mind dear. X and. I broke up way around February." I saw Josh at the corner of my eye....umm.
"Kaya..." I laughed nervously. What the hell?
"Wait. I get it now! You planned all of this!" Angie said butting in.
"Obviously German girl. Jeez Ebony yet everyone thinks your smart." With that Kaya disappeared. Josh walked up next to me and looked at me lost in words.
"Well? What are you waiting for go!" I told him.
"I...I can't." He turned around and went the other way. Xavier made his way towards me and I wished I could of had my shoe tied. I stepped on my shoelace, tripped and fell to the pool. Great...twice this week. Xavier stopped half way before he ran after me and dived in. Cute.
