Glory had found the Key.

The God who had been searching for Elena without knowing it for months was now standing right in front of the group of friends.

A wicked smirk on her face as she eyed to brunette like a piece of meat.

Without hesitation, Buffy grabbed Elena's arm throwing them both through the wooden door into the hall of the dorms.

They had to escape before Glory got to them.

They had to run like hell.

While Buffy attempted to get Elena out of there, Bonnie and Willow quickly shared a panicked glance.

Glory was stronger than Buffy and faster, they had to buy the Slayer time to get Elena somewhere safe. Without needing words, the two women both shared a sharp nod before raising their hands in Glory's direction, forming a forcefield to halt back Glory.

Closing her eyes, Bonnie summoned as much magic as she could before dropping her side of the field and swinging her arm out. Sending a burst of pure spirit magic right at the God sending her flying away from them.

Crashing into the building across the street.

The two witches had managed to buy some time for Buffy and Elena to escape, but they had no idea of knowing if it would be enough.

They could only hope and run like hell.

Running side by side through the halls of the dorm, Buffy kept a tight hold on Elena's arm, not willing to let her go for even a second.

There was no playing it safe now.

No hiding in plain sight.

Glory knew and she wouldn't stop coming for Elena.

Rushing over to the emergency exit in the common room, Buffy slammed her foot out, kicking the double doors down, sending them flying right off their hinges causing gasps of shock to echo from the other students.

Not that Buffy cared.

All she cared about was getting Elena somewhere safe. The school could sue her for damages for all she cared.

Rushing outside into the college garden, Buffy's eyes widened as she spotted Elena struggling to keep up with her.

"We can't stop. We have to keep moving."

Elena nodded, gasping for air slightly before her eyes widened in horror as she spotted a blurry figure speeding right at them.

Glory.

"Buffy!"

Glancing over her shoulder, terror instantly filled Buffy.

It didn't take a genius to figure out exactly who was rushing at them.

In a beat, Buffy was lifting Elena up into her arms before taking off at an inhuman speed, leaping over anything that got in her way.

But despite her enhanced nature, the truth was, she wasn't as powerful as Glory.

It didn't take long for The God to catch them, cutting the pair off and causing Buffy's feet to come to a screeching halt.

As Buffy dropped Elena back down onto her feet, Glory moved in front of the two women,  blocking their path of escape.

Her eyes filled with fury as she watched Buffy move protectively in front of the Key.

The thing she rightfully believed belonged to her.
