KENZIE'S POINT OF VIEW

"what do you want to do," i groaned. "what do you wanna do?" annie replies, while lauren nodded in agreement.

i looked at my watch, and saw that it was twelve. how was johnny still asleep?

"let's just swim." i finally suggested. "okay!" lauren jumped up and went to her suitcase to get her costume. annie slowly rolled off my bed, onto the floor and did the same.

i settled on a cute bikini, and then went to wait for the two at the pool. i jumped in and began floating around on my back.

finally lauren and annie arrived and before long we were busy splashing around like seven year olds.

"let's play twenty questions!" lauren randomly piped up. we all agreed, and i went first. i already had someone in mind.

"girl or boy?" annie asked me. "only yes and no questions," i grinned. both she and lauren rolled their eyes.

"is it a girl?" i shook my head. "ooo so it's a boy!" annie slyly smiled. i just shrugged.

"johnny," lauren blurted. "no!" i exclaimed. both of their faces fell. i inwardly groaned.

"anyway, go on.." i told them. "brandon.." lauren suggested, looking almost afraid of the answer. i shook my head and she let out a sigh of relief.

"you guys have only three guesses," i reminded the pair. they nodded, and after a few seconds of debating, they yelled, "tom!"

"what- who's tom?" i raised my eyebrows. they both shrugged. wow, real mature.

"who was it?" lauren asked me. "maliboo," i sheepishly grinned. both lauren and annie shot me a glare. i didn't lie though, because they just assumed it was a boy since it wasn't a girl.

we played a few more rounds, and just as we were done, johnny came downstairs. "finally, the king awakens," lauren rolled her eyes.

"hilarious, but hey, i'm a king," johnny smirked. "wanna join us?" i asked him, ignoring the grins lauren and annie we're changing.

johnny shrugged, and removed his
t-shirt, revealing his six-pack, which, me being me, couldn't help but stare at. "like what you see?" he raised his eyebrows.

i turned red, but to stop the embarrassment, i replied, "that's the most cliché lines from literally all the books on wattpad."

"you read books on wattpad?" annie asked me. "no.." i replied, realising i just exposed myself. oops.

luckily they were distracted by johnny canon balling into the pool, causing us all to get even more drenched than we already were.

lauren groaned as annie jumped onto her back. "come on! just to the other side of the pool," annie begged. lauren sighed as she began to swim to the other side.

i laughed at their antics, before turning to johnny. he was already staring at me. "we're leaving day after tomorrow," he stated. i gave him a sad smile, which he mirrored. "i've had fun," he added. "likewise," i grinned.

dang it!" annie rolled her eyes, when she missed her spare by one pin. my mom had dropped the four of us to a bowling alley to spend the evening.

lauren went to for her turn. "and that's a strike!" she yelled, jumping up and down, before the ball even reached the pins.

i looked around, embarrassed at her crazy habits, but finding them amusing all the same. "lauren..it didn't hit anything," johnny informed her. lauren glared at him, only to watch her ball roll to the side, without touching the pins. "aw man," she groaned.

i grabbed a ball, and impulsively threw it high, hoping it would go far, which it did. far from our own alley. i watched in fright as my ball flew into the alley next to ours, where the people there had been getting continuous strikes. well, there goes their streak.

i turner at Annie and Lauren, who both looked as scared as i did, and then there was john, who was clutching his stomach, which doubling over in laughter. that went on for another two minutes, especially when he watched the people from the next lane come over and yell at me.

"johnn! it's not that funny." i couldn't help crack a smile, while i watched him laugh. "trust me..it is." he replied, and then burst out laughing again.

i turned to annie and lauren, who were just staring at us, with silly grins on their faces. i walked over to them, leaving johnny to control his mirth, and asked them if they wanted to eat something.

of course they did, so we went to the place where food was being served, inside the bowling alley, thankfully, and ordered two cheese pizzas. one for john, and one for the three of us.

as we waited for our food, annie suggested we play truth and dare. "with four people?" i raised my eyebrows. "it'll be fun," she promised. i relented, but couldn't help but wonder why people always chose this game. why not something like.. ah, i see.

"i'll go first!" lauren piped up. "john. t or d?" laurn shot him a smirk.

"dare," he answered. lauren rubbed her hands in glee, trying to get an evil effect to her act, before telling johnny what his dare was.

he jumped up, laughing. "that's really easy." which wasn't even a lie. both annie and i thought it was quite boring.

johnny got up, and made his to the alley next to ours. yeah, the one where i had thrown my ball.

he sneaked up on the man who was bowling, with another ball in hand, and suddenly yelled in the mans ear, causing him to drop his own ball, and john took that moment to chuck his own ball towards the pins.

the man turned to johnny and started yelling at him, saying things like 'kids these days!' or, 'I could have invited myself' and blah blah blah.

johnny came back a few minutes later, grinning from ear to ear. "my turn."
