I promise these notes aren't gonna become a regular thing. Everyone hates reading them, they'd rather get on with the book. I'm the same, but I felt like I needed to say some shit about this one. You can read or not.

First off, there won't be smut. *immediately every horny girl clicks away* No, but seriously. There will be scenes with adult content (I'm still me), but it won't be focusing on that. It won't be the dirty, filthy, steamy shit you know and love from me, but it's still gonna be fucked (up).

I'm trying something new with this one. Last year was rough for me; I dealt with heartache and serious writer's block, and I think a lot of it had something to do with being stuck. I felt like I was running around in circles, so I said 'fuck it all' this year to everything. I crossed off the things I didn't need and decided to throw myself into something I hadn't tried before.

So with that said, this book is an experiment for me. I tried a new writing style, a new way of narrating in first person. The chapters are short, between 1200-2000 words, but trust me when I say, they'll have what you need. They are short, but intense.

Whatever expectations you had about Violinist from the cover or the summation, I promise you it won't be what you imagined. My characters go down a dark road and the plot gets twisted and more fucked up as we go along. I know everyone is going to butcher my protagonists; there'll be confusion, hair-pulling, eye-rolling, cringing and maybe even some light screaming (that's my goal).

So now that I have warned you, all there's left for me to say is... stay open-minded. The best way to describe this book is; It's a slow descend to madness. Be prepared for that.

Alright. That's it.

- Cheers!
