The next morning when i walk into the living room.

"Oh...Mina."

"Hi, Reimako."

(She's not gonna distant herself from me because of what happened yesterday, is she?)

As i start to get worried.

"Goodmorning, Mina." she smiled ever so sweetly.

(Huh?...Oh)

"G-Goodmorning to you as well, Reimako." i hurriedly reply.

"Oh, I'll go get the morning paper."

Then she hurries busily out of the living room.

As she does Miyoko walks in.

"Rei seems, to be in a good mood..."

"Yeah , i don't really know why though." i replied.

"Hm? But you talked with her yesterday, right?" she continued.

"Yeah, But..." As i hesitate

"Well...Anyway, that's great, Mina."

"Oh!, I need to get going, i have remedial class after all." she said as she picks up her back

"You're plunking some subjects again, i see."

"Shut up! Tell me what happen later, Mina."

"See ya!"

And i'm left alone in the living room.

(Was i just worrying too much?)

(If so that's good news.)

I feel a little relieve after seeing how Reimako was acting.

Then, that evening...

Miyoko and i saw each other on the way back to the Famille' and are walking back together...

Of course on our way back we talk about...

"So what did you talk about with Rei?" she asked.

"Mn, w-well.." (it's not really something i could share easily.)

"We kinda talked ...but."

"Hmn? It didn't go well?"

"No i think it went alright, but..."

"But what? Come on Mina, details, details." she pushed.

(Recently, i don't understand what Reimako is thinking at all.)

Then...

"Are you really that concerned about Rei, Mna?"

"Huh? Well, yeah."

"Why don't you just ask her what it is, then?"

"Huh? But..."

"But what?"

"If i ask her... I get the feeling it might be something that's hard to her to talk about..."

That was the impression that i got from Reimako recently.

Then Miyoko gives off a little smile.

"It'll be fine! I'm sure she'll be able to talk about it with you, Mina."

"H-huh? Why?"

"What do you mean why you dense MC you!"

Miyoko stares intently at me, with a surprised look on her face.

"You're denser than a black-hole you know that."

*Flicked*

"Ow, hey!"

Miyoko flicked me in the forehead and then turns away pouting.

"Anyway, try talking with Rei again later."

"Spending all your time fretting about it isn't gonna do you any good, is it."

"Y-yeah, you're right."

I nod in agreement.

(Ok, once i get back, I'll try talking to Reimako.)

"Thanks for the advice, Miyoko."

"Not at all."

Miyoko says this cheerfully, when just then...

*Trips*

As she walks along, Miyoko catches her foot on a bump on the sidewalk.

"Miyoko!"

"Kyah!"

(Wew that was close.)

Miyoko almost fell over, and i catch her just in time.

"Careful, are you okay?"

"Huh? Oh...y-yeah."

When i look at her face though...

(Hm?)

Her face is an amazingly bright shade of red.

"What's wrong?" i asked.

"Uh-uh, nothing," she said as she instantly covers her face

Just then...

*Thud*

I heard something fall to the ground, as i turn around to see it.

"Huh?" i stood there dumbfounded still holding Miyoko in my arms

"Rei!" uttered Miyoko as she immediately pull herself away from me.

Reimako is standing there, her shopping bag lying on the ground in front of her.

Just then...

"What..."

Reimako backs away her face turns pale.

"M-Mina..how could you!"

(H-how could i what?)

"Reimako?"

"I thought you were different!"

"W-what?" (different? well i am different, wait what does she meant by that?)

Then without warning she runs away from us.

"R-Reimako! what's wrong?!"

"What are you doing you daft! Run after her!" ordered Miyoko.

"Huh? Why?"

"Don't ask why you dolt just go!!!"

"O-Okay."

Confused and dazed Miyoko's shouting seems to have just pushed me running.

I feel apprehensive but i hurry after Reimako.

(Reimako..what's wrong with her?)

"R-Reimako! Wait!"

I managed to catch up with her and grab hold of her hand.

"Oh! S-Sorry..."

I quickly let go and peered at her face.

"W-Wha..."

"Rei..why are you crying?"

Dumbfounded i freeze up.

When she turns around, her eyes are filled with silent tears...
