"More importantly.." She looks at the piece of paper. "This leads somewhere.. Out of town.."
"Out of town..?" Thresh blinks. "Where..?"
"Doesn't matter.. None of you are coming.." She sets Sonya down on the couch and looks at Firo. "Watch her for me.." She waves and disappears
Sonya pouts and rubs her eyes
"Sorry Sonya..." Kanna pats the child's head.
"Honestly.. I'm glad to skip out on this adventure.." Thresh looks out the window
"But it's obvious what this is!!" Firo is impatient in her excitement.
"What is it..?" Thresh looks at her
"She's a time traveler!" Firo grins happily
"I'm ninety nine percent certain that you're wrong." Thresh states. I tap his shoulder and point up at the title.
"Wanna make it a bet?" Firo grins and looks out the window. "I say we go after her.."
"Are you crazy?!" Kanna looks at her.
"Yes!" Firo picks a smiling Sonya up as we hear a motorcycle engine from outside. "Let's go!! It's a plot-filled trilogy of chapters and there is no way I'm missing it!" Sonya is happily laughing as Firo runs out of the room. "Maybe it'll even be a tetralogy!! The author had to look that up in order to write this joke!"
Mason sprints after her with a grin on his face
Kanna looks between me and Kiki. "Don't you dare even think about it..."
"Sorry Kanna!" I run out of the room grinning
"I'm not!!" Kiki grins and sprints out of the room, dragging Thresh behind her.
"Don't die!!" Kanna yells after us
"No promises!!" Firo laughs

"So where exactly are we going..?" Thresh is nervous
"Somewhere...?" Firo looks back at him. Kiki is still dragging him along
We had managed to follow the demon up until this point, but now she was on foot, which made following her a lot more difficult. The area we had ended in was rather strange though, it was just a forest. Considering all the strange things we've seen, seeing something this normal has become the new abnormality.
"So we don't even know where we're going...?" Thresh sighs. "We're all gonna die.."
"Oh, relax.. We've survived worse than this." Firo states
"Yeah, but at least we had some idea of where we were going for those adventures!" Thresh looks at Firo
"Duck!" Sonya frantically whispers
We all suddenly dive behind a nearby tree or bush as Evi looks behind her to investigate the noise. We were at a very reasonable distance away from the demon, enough to be able to talk at our usual voice levels. But yelling was too much volume.
"Nice going, Thresh." Firo glares a bit
"I'm making a point." Thresh glares back. "If we get caught, we're dead.. If we make it there, we're probably still dead.. It's a lose lose situation.." Thresh raises his voice slightly.
