^ Elizabeth above ^ Elizabeth's POV "Jace said you wanted to see us?" Clary says as we step into Isabelle's room
"That's right" Izzy says looking through her closet. I quickly jump onto her bed enjoying the comfort of it
"What are you two wearing to the downworlder party tonight?" She asks taking a seat next to me
"I don't know" I say my voice muffled from the sheets. "I was just thinking of wearing this" Clary adds pointing to her jeans and shirt
Isabelle sits up chuckling while shaking her head. "I don't think so. No downworlder would be caught dead in that. Plus it's a party not a poetry slam" she says looking though her closet
"Well I don't really have party clothes with me so...." Clary trails off as Izzy continues to look through her closet
"So you'll have to wear mine hmm?" She asks and I try my best to tune out the conversation and fall asleep
"You realize one of these days you're gonna have to tell me where and when" Clary says
"Where and when what?" Izzy asks and Clary sighs dramatically. "Where you get your spending money and when are you letting me go to a store" she replies
"Clary" Isabelle says as she hands her a black dress. "Okay, that dress is way too tight" Clary says and I groan trying to sleep
"It's stretchy. At least for tonight put it on" Isabelle says and Clary sighs mumbling fine before going to change
Just as my eyes closed completely I was smacked with a piece of clothing. "What the hell Iz?" I say and she hands me a white dress
"Here you go. Put it on." She says as she pulls out a sequinned dressed for herself
"Iz I can't pull this off" I say and she laughs. "Girl trust me yes you can now put it on!" She says changing into her own dress
I rolled my eyes before slipping on the dress. It was white and short and had a deep v neck. I quickly thew on my leather jacket so I would hopefully feel less exposed
"You know I would complain about the jacket but it actually looks great. Here's some shoes" He says throwing me some black pumps
"You look hot" Izzy says as she finished my hair and makeup
I hesitantly looked down at the dress not liking it but at the same time liking it. Does that makes sense?

Jace walks in smirking as he sees Clary who fidgets nervously. "Someones looking badass" Jace says and I gag making Isabelle chuckle
"She cleans up well. I'm gonna see Alec. He doesn't know what to wear to these parties either. I'm also taking Liz with me" She says before we make it to Alec's room
