Chapter 3: It's time to grow up, literally!

Are you flipping serious right now, your dad did not say or do that Blair shouted but all Rose could do was cry in Blair's chest. I feel so stupid, what was I suppose to expect that a man who knows nothing about me will accept me, Blair rolled her eyes, at least he could have done a DNA test with a the money he has, he could get have gotten instant results. Rose laugh with tears in her eyes, whats done is done he already said what he said and did what he did. I need to find a job because as soon as the third week roll round I will be broke.

Laying down Rose could not help let her mind wonder to what happen, it kept replaying in her mind her own father tried to kill her. She made a promise to herself to never come in his presence again and if she saw him to run. Turning to her side she notice Blair was not in her bed so she went to check on her. Knocking on the bathroom door she whispered B are you alright. When the door open she saw Blair sitting on the countertop smoking what seems to be a joint. Is that marijuana? she ask looking as Blair took a puff, yea you wanna try it takes your mind off everything. Rose stared at her for a moment then grab the joint placing it between her lips, I been thinking it's time for me to grow up, blowing out the smoke she looked at Blair then handed it back to her and walk off, Goodnight B.

Three weeks had past, I freaking knew it, I broke hungry and if I do not find a job homeless will join the list she said falling backward onto the bed looking up at the ceiling. Rose could not believe she applied for simple jobs but the people thought she was too young to work there or anywhere on the whole. Blair who was polishing her toes looked at Rose and bit her lip before looking down at her toes again. Rose? didn't you say you wanted to grow up, well there is a job offering at my work but it is for strippers.

Rose turn her head to look at Blair, are you serious right now B? I don't want to do that, am still holding onto my dignity. Blair rose an eyebrow oh really and what am I holding onto? Rose got on her knees, B you know what I mean I am shy and do not like to show my body to anyone. I know but you said you wanted to grow up and this is you growing up Blair threw her hands in the air. A knock at the door was heard and Rose got up and open it and saw the man at the front desk, mam I came to tell you that after tomorrow you can't stay here due to your balance, sorry and have a goodnight. 

Slamming the door shut Rose turn around, on second though I will go apply for that job, I need it if I want to survive. Also I need to check out that place that needed a maid but I said it was too flithy, considering our condition it would not be too bad. Blair stand up, RJ are you sure about this no backing out. Rose bite her bottom lip, thinking to see if her mind would scream no and after she contemplated she smile, am positive no backing out.

Walking throught the bar she made her way to the back to gather her clothes, she hated stripping but it is the only source of income other than cleaning the rooms at the other job she had after the couples had steamy sex. She was what they called a SIT stripper in training but she still got paid and if she did a good job in training she become a LS legit stripper. Blair told her Calvin her boss wanted to see her and when they made their way to the main area, SURPRISE! everyone shouted. Blair hugged her from behind congratulations guess who is our new legit stripper, Rose squealed and turn around, no way I feel like I work for Victoria Secret and just got her wings to become an angel, this is amazing.

After the party, Rose and Blair headed home where Rose got onto her laptop. No way, no way, no way, Rose stand up shock, shu the front door she squeal. Rose what is it? Blair looked at her with worry. Would you believe I applied for college and got accepted, Rose jump up and down with excitement, oh and another thing I applied for you too because I remember you telling me you wanted to do fashion and you got accepted too. What? Rose please tell me you're joking? Nope Rose answered popping the p, Blair hugged Rose and said no one as ever taken an interest in helping me reach my goals, you are the best and I could not ask for a better friend.

As they were in the dark Rose called Blair's name, yes Blair answered, promise you would never do nothing to jeopardize our friendship. I only had one friend but she treated me like crap and alway used me that is until she messed with the wrong people and ended up dead. Blair heard the pain in Rose voice and told Rose that she would never betray her trust because she knew what it was like for she too had a friend that she loved more than anything and because of that she did not notice the knife that was placed in her back. Rose I think it's time we both grow up, literally and stick together, we are all we have left she spoke with tears and they both drifted off into a deep sleep thinking about what the future holds for them.
