Zari and Amaya

Prompt: from SnowAllen2226, Amaya saw Nate kiss another woman. She ran to her room that she shared with Zari. She crys. Unfortunately, Zari heard her crying and stay with her until she calms down and fall asleep. And Sara, Gideon and Ava say they are cute together!

"Nathaniel, I was thinking-." Amaya tries to say as she approaches him at bar in the 60s, but cuts off when she sees him and a random woman kissing.

Amaya gasps, immediately taken back from the scene in front of her. Amaya takes a deep breath as the waves of emotions crash over here, tears beginning to build up. 

"Excuse me." Amaya rushes out as she pushes past bodies, the only thing running through there mind is how dumb could she possibly be.

"Amaya! I brought snacks!" Zari cheers with an armful of junk food as she enters their shared quarters.

Zari's happy smile completely flips when she sees her friend sobbing in the floor, leaning against her bed for support. Zari immediately throws her snacks on the bed and sits down next to Amaya.

"Hey, hey, hey. What's going on?" Zari questions as she pulls Amaya into her arms.

"It's nothing, Z." Amaya sniffs as she wipes her tears and leans her head on Zari's chest.

"Is it cause I didn't bring ice cream? Because I tried really hard, but my hands were full. I'll get some if that's what you want. A big thing of yummy ice cream." Zari jokes, trying to lighten her friend's mood.

"No, that's not it. Although it would've been appreciated." Amaya laughs lightly.

"Then, what is it? People don't cry for nothing, Amaya. You can tell me." Zari pushes lightly.

"It's Nathaniel. I went to talk to him earlier, and he was with another woman." Amaya confesses.

"Look, if Nate is to blind to see the most incredible woman he has in front of him who wants to be with him, it's his lost. You're incredible, Amaya. And if he can't see that, he's just a waste of your time." Zari says strongly.

"You always know the right things to say, Z." Amaya smiles as she cuddles further into her.

"Only with you, Amaya. Only you. Now, you wanna eat snacks and watch crappy TV?" Zari smiles back.

"With you, any day." Amaya says with a huge smile, and with that Nate was far from her mind.

"Gideon, show me where Amaya and Zari are. Haven't heard from them." Sara says as she walks onto the bridge, Ava right behind her.

"You always worry about them like that?" Ava ask.

"Comes with being Captain. Momma gotta worry about her babies." Sara laughs.

"Ms. Jiwe and Ms. Tomas, are in their room. Sound asleep." Gideon reports as she pulls up the feed from their room, showing them sound asleep on Zari's bed.

Zari holding Amaya tight, and Amaya just snuggling in further into Zari's embrace.

"Woah. They look cute." Ava says happily.

"I ship it. Momma approves. Thanks, Gideon." Sara smiles.

"My pleasure, Captain Lance. And I believe they look adorable as well." Gideon says as she takes down the feed.
