"MIAN... I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.."

He whispered into her ears, easing his labored breathing from their rigorous activities in bed. His thick arms were wrapped around her waist possessively, as his lips pressed in the crook of her neck, smelling her unique fragrance that only he can monopolize.

Her supple skin felt so soft and smooth, so fair and unblemished, and her whole countenance was of an intoxicating beauty.

He had realized the love of his life was becoming more and more beautiful, or it could be that a man in love was blind to all. His heart beat with her's, and he couldn't think of another day without any contact with her. He loved her too much it hurts.

She cuddled him in her embrace as she breathe in his masculine smell. Her heart slowly eased, their hearts beating as one.

She could not be anywhere else but by his side. Gently kissing his forehead, and then his thin cherry lips, she closed her eyes.

If love was this beautiful, peaceful and sometimes overwhelming, she was glad to have risked her heart, ultimately to the right man.

"...Babe, I love you too.." She softly whispered back, and she could feel his grip tightening. They fell back to sleep, knowing they were both content in each other's embrace, safe and loved.

D City's denizens and netizens thought a long while ago that if the Emperor and the Empress were to be married, there would be a humongous wedding. Hence, when they all heard that they merely went to get their marriage license simple and straightforward, they were immensely disappointed.

Although some of them had already deduced that the couple were both indifferent to banquets or celebrations, they spoke business and that was all that mattered to them. So it was not completely surprising when they married in a jiffy with no priest, no cakes, no wedding receptions and certainly no ceremony.

A pen was all they needed, plus the presence of each other.

That same night, they rolled on their white sheets eating each other like they've never done before. The perk was, both of them were drunk.
