As it says in the texts: Ryan says that "I liked trying with you" now what could that possibly mean?
Well, for one: in a interview that I cannot find, Brendon admitted that he and Ryan have had experimented with each other, at least that's what I hated from a person that talks about ryden theories. Idk if that's actually true though!
And since Chelsey was obsessed with Brendon and knew how to mimic Brendon, Ryan told the truth as if it was Brendon because he really thought it was the real Brendon.
And since Chelsey responded with "Would it be really gay" and since before she responded Ryan said "But I liked trying with you" you can just tell that Ryan and her were talking about him and Brendon trying stuff out with each other (°•°)
