Before anything,I would like to say that some of this is inspired by a game,and if anyone knows this leave a comment saying 'Clicker' cause its fun...i think.. Cause Why not??!!

Am I gonna die?...what will they do if Im already there? Will they kill me for the greater good? I asked myself covering my face with the f/c sweater given by Jeff, my hero, he took me from the nice lady to send me in custody with the Fireflies or so as I've heard "Will I die?" I bursted into a question snuggling in my sweater for comfort
"I hope not, or else that will be tragic" Jeff frowned leaning on the door frame enveloping his arms "The fireflies are a thousand miles away but we could go quick if we sneak in the dark" he said walking towards the window, peeking if armed forces are traced on the streets, hopefully not
"They are still here" he muttered under his breath before taking out a flask of beer chugging it peacefully as I moved my sleeve enough to see my bite "Why didnt I die?" You asked as he made his way towards you "Kid, I dont know whats the reason but you should be glad, you are the antidote...basically saying,you are a hero" he said ruffling my hair locks
"What if.....I dont want to be the hero in the story,..." I said drowning myself into tears as I remembered my friends who were bitten too 'We were all bitten, infact we even waited to turn like one of them, they turned, but not me.... and then I woke up realizing Im the cure for this intoxicated apocalypse filled with ruthless mutant human beings eating their own race' I thought trembling in fear
"Do you have a family? Or maybe someone you fell for?" You uttered facing your back on a wall as you teared up "Actually at the past...I had a brother, his name is Liu... he was a special person for me,since we're brothers and all...until the apocalypse happened..." he trailed off , wiping his tears with his ripped sleeve "I lost him because of an asshole soldier who shot him...."
I scooted towards him before clinging my arm on his, 'I shouldnt have brought that subject out of the box' I thought as I looked down on the floor "Thanks...." he said shifting his gaze on my h/c hair locks as he intertwined his fingers on mine
My cheeks were heating up,as small fireworks were filling up on your heart "Thanks for what?" I asked giving him an innocent smile
"When I took you from Marlene.. I thought that there was a connection from the both of us...I mean my world wasnt that dull anymore...I feel comfort for the first time in years" He sighed, I took this chance to envelope him into a hug and peck him on the lips
"Thank you too without you I wouldnt be in that sulking mess anymore...and if it werent for you, I bet I wouldve been killed by now" I confessed pulling away from him before pulling out a pistol from my backpack
"Lets go" I ordered pulling him by the arm as he grabbed his shotgun near the door "Hope there arent any clickers or walkers in here" I whispered hiding from a corner before retrieving another sack of bullets, I threw my hand up in the air as I placed it in the bag
"You got anythin' good?" Jeff asked as he crawled towards you making sure not to make any noise
"Found a sack of bullets for my pistol" you replied eyeing him with excitement "good" he answered taking your hand before dragging you which seems to be a balcony or used to be
"Why are we here?" You asked facing the view, trees were littered everywhere as scraps of building parts was messed around the meadow, buildings were filled with vines from afar, as a wind breeze hugged me in a comfortable matter , this reminded me of the good ol' days
"Look there, Y/N" jeff pointed to a horizon as I looked further seeing a crowd of giraffes coming towards our direction "Ive never seen them up close before" I gleamed as he only shook his head before grabbing something on his bag 'grasses?' "Grasses?" I asked him, glaring at him weirdly 'why would he carry a bunch of grass on his bag???!!' I thought
He took a handful before giving it to me "thanks??" I said clutching the green material on my palm, he took a handful too before handing it to the giraffe near us "they like it" he said patting the animal's head "Your turn" he ordered grabbing my hand that was carrying the grass towards the same giraffe
"I-I c-cant...wh-what if it bites" I stuttered eyeing the animal who seems to be annoyed by me not giving its delicious meal "They are herbivores..." he explained as I took a deep sigh turning my attention to the animal before giving him its food
The giraffe seemed contented and left with its herd as they continued their journey in the city "how did they survive?" I questioned pulling my bag from the ground before wrapping it on my shoulders
"Because they have each other...like us" I eyed him suspiciously "Are you trying to get intimate with me" I asked faking to vomit any minute now
"Oi I was tryin to make the first move here!" He pouted as you pinched his cheek making a peace sign 'Im sorry' I mouthed as he continued to glare at me
"Are you gonna be fine while Im away?" I asked him pushing some boxes towards the ladder up high to reach it "Hell no" he replied shaking his head while pinching the bridge of his nose " I cant even sleep without you by my side" he flirted which earned a small blush creeping on my cheeks
"Then how are you gonna take it if the fireflies wont allow you to see me?" I asked "I-Ill tore the building down...and burn it and roast them" he said smiling gleefully at the pun he made
"Yeah sure.." I facepalmed before jumping towards the ladder,climbing it,seeing a small narrow space leading to a building "Ill see you at the door, Jeff" I told him as he shook his head at the horrible idea "What if you wont make it??" He asked panickingly hurrying up after me "You cant fit and you know that" I told him as he sighed and nodded,heading towards the main door before stopping halfway "I love you...and please dont die" he shouted as I replied with a blow kiss, he snatched the kiss like its real and placed it on his lips
I waved him off as he continued to walk towards the main door it stopped as I bursted into an ear shattering scream...

This was pretty much longer than I thought so I ended it with a cliffhanger
