"So you have night mares..." Lilli Benn Asto stated. "Ok... For the record, you need to talk too for this to qualify as a conversation." Lilli had already messaged the General, and sent her a picture of Poe. Leia grounded him immediately, and until further notice. Then Lilli followed Poe back to his room.

They were sitting on his bed facing each other, and Lilli had crossed her legs. Poe finally gave in. "Okay, fine." he said, "I have nightmares... and then panic attacks. But only since I met you."

Lilli wrinkled her nose, "You're blaming me? I distinctly remember you telling me thank you the first time we met. Though it's not like I actually have any control over the whole shared dreams thing." she rambled.

Poe waved his hand dismissively, "No, no... not because of you. Before I met you... well honestly I thought you were a figment of my imagination, but besides that... It was just nightmares. Then I would dream about you and I would wake up fine. Well, mostly fine."

"Oh. Um... okay. Uh, well, I remember dreaming about you too. That also stopped when I met you."

"Wait, you remember what happened in the dreams?" He asked suddenly seeming much more invested in the conversation than he had been a moment ago.

"Yeeess. Why? You don't?" Lilli answered, confused.

"No, I don't. Can you tell me?"

Lilli was suddenly very done with the conversation. "You know what, I don't really want to talk about it. It's been a long day and I need to get back to bed." She climbed off the bed and tried to leave but Poe jumped up, wrapped a hand around her wrist, and held her firmly in place.

"I seem to remember you saying we needed to have this conversation regardless of what I wanted to do. And now that you got me here, I'm not gonna let you walk out on me." he pulled her back around to face him. He was standing in-front of her, looking down to meet her eyes. "Plus you grounded me until further notice. I need to sleep, I can't sleep, and the solution has something to do with you." he closed his eyes for a second, "Please. I need your help."

Lilli took a deep breath to help herself forget that she was standing incredibly close to Poe. She was just about the height of his shoulder and she had to look up to just see his chin, not to mention his eyes. "Fine." she conceded, "You were always dying. Or someone, I think you knew, would die, and they you would get stuck, and I would come... well, hold you..." Poe nodded.

"That sounds about right. Only I never remembered what would happen after I saw you in the dream. I couldn't even remember your face, till I actually met you. Was that it?"

"Uh'hu." Lilli nodded, trying to sound convincing, but Poe wasn't falling for it. Gosh this was so awkward. Lilli was praying he would leave it alone.

He didn't. "I don't believe you. What happened?" He questioned with an serious tone.

"I-I don't want to... I don't think I should... I'm not going to tell you." Lilli stuttered nervously.

"Why not?" Poe asked confused, "I don't-"

Lilli held up a hand, gaining some confidence back, "I would be a bad idea. And very awkward... for the both of us... So just... no."

Poe raised his eyebrows, "Oh... okay." he shook his head, and dropped her hand. "I still need to sleep though. Or I might end up grounded for life..." She hummed in response. "Do you think if you... stayed heeerrrree?" he asked very slowly.

Lilli's gut reaction was to say no. That it would be a bad idea, and that he should just go get some med's from a doctor. But she forced herself to stop and think about the idea for a moment. And she came to the conclusion that it was worth a shot. A shot. One shot. Just one. And if it didn't work then, bad idea.
