Chapter 32 - Back to Normal

I was discharged in the hospital immediately the Famille' members don't even get a chance to visit me when i return to the Famille'together with Reimako.

"Ah!!!"

"What's with the reaction Miyoko? It's like you've seen a ghost."

Seeing the two of us, Miyoko freezes up for a moment but then...

"Mina...you idiot!!!"

"Eh?"

As Miyoko shouts this, i can't tell whether she's going to laugh or about to cry.."

Her expression is one of sincere relief though.

"Argh! I was so worried that you really wouldn't come back!"

"Ehehehe, s-sorry for worrying you..."

"Yeah! Really! We didn't even get a chance to visit you at the hospital."

"Uhmm...Miyoko?"

"I'm really sorry too..." Rei continued as she apologizes.

"There's nothing to apologize, Reimako and besides you brought the idiot back."

"No..i..."

Then, all the other member of Famille' come from the living room.

"Hehehe..welcome back Mina." greeted Ms.Mikahara.

"I was surprised when i heard you left all of a sudden..." said Raika with a faint smile.

"Welcome back" greeted Kasumi with a nonchalant smile.

"Ehehehe, sorry for worrying all of you."

(Oh...)

Standing at the back is Yomiko, looking a little uncomfortable.

(R-right, i haven't talked to her properly since what happen...)

I wonder if she's still mad at me, i'm back after all...

"Mina..."

"S-Sorry..." we said in unison as we both find ourselves bowing and looking at each other.

"W-why are you apologizing?"

"Y-You don't need to apologize." 

we continued as we parroted each other.

then we both giggled as the other Famille' members joined us.

"Listen, Mina..."

"I'm sorry, i-i went to far..."

"I thought you'd really left, because what of i said."

"No it wasn't your fault...that wasn't why..."

"Huh?"

"I'm glad though, i thought you really hate me, and i'm worried you might still be angry at me."

Just as i breathe a sigh of relief, though.

She turns bright red with embarrassment.

"W-What? I-if wasn't why...then what do you think you're doing running off like that?!"

"W-well i-uh...it's because."

"Yuu!"

"Who's gonna carry our bags the groceries when you're not around?!"

"Right...that's what you're worried about?"

"Ahahahaha!"

"Oh dear..."

"Ahahaha...dear me."

"Ehehe...oh! Yuu."

As i hear everyone laughing, I really get that feeling that i'm back home.

Then...

"Anyway, we need to get the two of you a change of clothes and warmed up."

"I'll go warm up and run a bath, so wait here."

"Thank you, Ms.Mikahara."

(Oh, right...)

(Uhm..Uh, I'm i going to the bath together with Reimako?)

As i stand there bewildered, my imagination running wild.

"Wait a minute...why are you grinning like that?!"

"Huh? Am i?"

"You're not thinking you're gonna get in together with Rei, are you?"

"Huh?!"

Yomiko is staring daggers at me.

"Rei, is gonna take a bath first, obviously!"

"O-Oh yeah of course! A-Ahahaha..." i laughed nervously 

as my vision is shattered.

"Here! Wrap this around you while the bath is running."

*Flop*

Miyoko smiles as she throws two blankets at us.

"T-Thanks Miyoko."

Then, she pushes me into my room together with Rei."

"A-Alright...let's wait for the bath to run, then..."

"Yeah."

Wrapped in the blankets, we sit down on the floor.

(The AC is not helping, god I'm freezing...)

"Hehehe..." Rei blurts out a giggle.

"Huh? What is it?"

"I bought an umbrella with me, but we're still both soaking wet."

"A-Ahahaha...you're right..."

"Hehehe..."

It suddenly seems funny and we both laughed. Then, Rei suddenly falls silent.

"U-umm...Mina."
