__________

The guards were changing more often now, after counting the seconds Hoseok guessed he had about thirty minutes to talk with Sanha on his shift.

And Sanha, well, in the past few days he'd become quite open, an unforgiving smile now couldn't help but to shine on the boys features as he found Hoseok's cell. The boy was kind, Hoseok deemed, as he had started bringing scraps of food and water to Hoseok's cell.

Yet, Hoseok would never finish the crumbs or even the water, no matter how much his body ached for it, he'd ask Sanha to give it to the other inmates, Jeong-in and Seung-min, who, had begun to warm up to him as well.

And of course, Hoseok and Sanha's time now was filled with conversation, Hoseok learned that his brother worked as a guard as well, his post was to guard the entrance of the prison.

"Wait, what about the little black cat? I thought you said it still followed your brother around everywhere?" Hoseok asked one night.

Sanha smirked, "That's why he's out there, and I'm in here. The cat is an outdoors cat."

"Really? What's its name?"

The boy gave an uneasy smile, "You're going to think it's stupid."

"Probably." Hoseok smirked.

Sanha sighed, "It's...okay for the record though Jiwoo was the one that named it, her names Tac. Literally...cat...spelled backwards..."

Hoseok laughed, but quickly settled down as the pain in his ribs forbid him, but he smiled, "That's not so bad, he could have just named him cat, you know?"

The boy smirked, "Yeah, I guess it could be worse."

Than Hoseok couldn't help but to be curious, "Sanha, what's your real name?"

A moment passed before the boy answered, "You mean, you don't believe my real name is Sanha?"

Hoseok narrowed his eyes towards his friend.

Only causing the boy to chuckle, "Sorry, sorry, looks like I can't get anything past you military people huh." Hiding his face from view he continued, "Its Minho. But don't call me that, Minho died a long time ago, and Sanha rose from his ashes. I'm Sanha now."

Hoseok nodded, trying to understand, "Is this because of-"

"I'm Sanha now. And that's all there is to it."

Hoseok smiled, gently, "Sanha it is then." Before the two slipped back into casual conversation.

Of course, it didn't take long for the bell to ring again, signaling for the guards to change shift but before Sanha could get up to leave Hoseok used all his strength to reach out and grab the boys sleeve, "Sanha, pain medicine, please."

The boy nodded, a sympathy in his eyes as he got up and walked away, his post now replaced with the larger guard who, not even a moment after the switch, filled the air with his humorless snores.
