they always wanted
to break me
to see me fall
to see me burn into flames
and so i let them see me fall out
i let them break down my soul
i burned myself in front of their eyes
but little did they know
i was born a Phoenix
and once again i rise
from my own ashes
once again i spread out my wings
for them to see
i was resurrected
i was reborn
brand new
better
and stronger
than i ever was before...
