Interrogation

Jungkook cocked a brow and lifted his gaze to meet Taehyung's.

"You've been staring at me since we got here, what's wrong with you?"

Taehyung laughed and lowered the menu he was holding.

"What's the deal with you and Y/N? I mean, I know the story of how you two met but why are you still with her? I thought the game was finished, you got to sleep with her first so why are you still sleeping with her?"

Jungkook shrugged and went back to drinking his coffee, in all honesty he couldn't really answer that question because he wasn't entirely sure himself.

"I mean, do you like her?" Taehyung smirked as he continued his interrogation.

"I obviously find her attractive but we haven't really known each other that long, it's purely a sexual thing between the two of us."

Taehyung chuckled and shook his head.

"Don't bullshit me Jungkook, we've been best friends for years. I've never seen you like this over a girl before, you've never wanted to make anyone jealous or got so pissed with me for showing an interest."

It was true, Jungkook never cared enough to try and make any girl jealous and he certainly never stopped his friends from going after his old conquests. He wasn't entirely sure why it bothered him so much to see Taehyung take an interest in Y/N, or why it made him so angry to think of them kissing that night.

"Jungkook she's definitely not the type you usually go for, you can't deny that. I'm just interested to know why you like her so much, why continue screwing her if she's not important to you. There's plenty of beautiful women for you to enjoy, why stick with her?"

Jungkook wasn't in the mood for this conversation, he felt himself getting immensely irritated.

"I don't know Taehyung, I honestly don't know. I guess the sex, the sex is incredible."

Jungkook called the waitress over, hoping that Taehyung would stop asking questions.

"I'll take the Ddukbokkie and can we also have some Japchae."

"Of course and for you?" The waitress turned her attention to Taehyung who still had that stupid smirk on his face, Jungkook frowned and knew his friend would continue his interrogation after the waitress finished taking their order.

"I'll take the Bulgogi please and some of the Bibimbap, I'll also have a still water with ice."

"Of course, right away."

Taehyung waited for the waitress to leave before turning his attention back to Jungkook.

"I think you like her."

Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"I don't get why you're so interested in my relationship with Y/N."

"I'm just curious, what makes this woman so special?"

"Christ Taehyung stop with the interrogation! I don't even know her that well, we don't really talk about personal things because that's not the type of relationship we have. I enjoy the sex, there's something different about having sex with Y/N. I can't explain it, we just have this chemistry which I've never had with another woman before."

Taehyung tilted his head and smiled.

"Jungkook you've never been a good liar, you're so transparent. I think we should take a look at the facts here, first you get jealous whenever anyone so much as glances in her direction. I mean, you punched your own brother over this woman, then you got pissed at me because I showed an interest and kissed her. You've never slept with the same woman multiple times, twice at most but never more as you don't like to form a connection. I've never seen you so upset about not getting to spend time with a woman, that night at the club you were so miserable because Y/N couldn't see you and I've never seen you so angry when you spotted her with Yerin at the club. I've never seen you get jealous or want to make a woman jealous and now you're getting irritated with me because I'm asking you questions."

Tae winked and chuckled, he could see the anger dancing around in Jungkook's eyes.

"I'm not going to continue this conversation with you Tae, Y/N isn't special to me. I just enjoy the sex and nothing more so can we forget this conversation and just talk about something else?"

Jungkook couldn't deny his behaviour with Y/N was suspect, he couldn't blame his friend for wanting to know more about their relationship.

It was true something was different about her, something that Jungkook couldn't understand at this point.

Jungkook wasn't ready for a relationship, he was still so young and had so much he wanted to do and accomplish before settling down and getting serious about someone.

It wasn't entirely true what he was saying to Taehyung about not knowing her that well, yes they avoided personal conversations because that would only complicate their arrangement but that didn't mean he wasn't aware of what was going on with her.

Jungkook was very observant, he would listen to conversations Y/N had with Yerin at work and picked up on certain things.

Y/N was also a very open person, she couldn't really hide her emotions very well even though she tried.

The woman was also stubborn, stubborn to the point that she wouldn't give up even though most people in her situation would. Y/N always wanted to do everything herself, she didn't want help because she feared it would make her look weak.

Then she had this adorable habit of scrunching her nose up and chewing the inside of her mouth when she was concentrating.

There was also this thing she did when sleeping, she would rub the tip of her cold little nose against his back. Jungkook found that so endearing, she would literally press herself against him for warmth and let out this content sigh which only made his smile widen.

Y/N wasn't clingy like most women he met and spent time with, she gave him the right amount of space and always knew what mood he was in and when to leave him alone.

Y/N was passionate, stubborn, intelligent, gentle and.....

What the hell....was it possible Taehyung was right?

Jungkook shook his head and glanced at Taehyung who chuckled.

"Jungkook you've just been sitting there with the biggest smile on your face, were you thinking about her?"

Jungkook narrowed his eyes and was about to reply when the waitress arrived at their table with the food.

Taehyung could see the look of relief wash over his friend as the food arrived, he thought this little interrogation was over but he was thoroughly mistaken.
