Carru

I messed up. And I messed up really bad. Today I got the chance to talk to Shena during maths class and I fucked it up.

I wanted to talk to her so bad that I ended up sounding like I'm ordering her to talk to me. She got really furious and told me to leave her alone. She must really hate me right now. I can't believe I was so stupid! What am I gonna do now? Shit!

"Yo Carru! What's wrong with you bro? You look really depressed", Marc said.

"Yea. Ever since you left maths class you have that sad puppy look on your face", Jake said.

"Becoz I fucked up", I said sadly.

"What do you mean?" Marc asked curiously.

Dre explained what happened in maths class and they all started laughing.

"I'm glad y'all find it funny, assholes", I said irritated.

"Chill bro. So watchu gon' do?" Jake asked.

"Fuck if I know", I said sadly.

"I know what you can do", Dre said calmly.

"What?" I asked anxiously.

"Apologize", Dre said monotone.

"What?!" Jake and Marc said in unison looking at Dre like he's crazy.

"We don't apologize to no one. Period", Jake said annoyed.

"Have you forgotten that?" Marc asked Dre.

"No. But maybe we can, just this once", Dre argued.

"No fucking way! I say move on to the next girl bro", Jake said.

"I agree with Dre", I said finally speaking up. Dre smiled at me. Marc and Jake looked at me like I'm crazy.

"Are you serious?" Marc asked looking at me.

"Yes. Look I know we don't apologize to anyone under any circumstance. But I can't forget Shena just like that. She's not like all my other flings. Every time I see her I feel happy. Just by looking at her makes me happy. I don't understand why I'm feeling this way or how comes I'm feeling this way. But I know that I can't forget her and I don't want to", I said calmly.

"Oh man. Shits gettin' real up in here", Marc said.

"Ever since that day when I saw her for the first time in maths class I can't get my mind off her. I don't even have any interest in any other girl. So if I gotta apologize to her to get her to not hate me then that's exactly what i'ma do", I said.

"Man, you really like this girl don't cha?" Marc asked.

"Yea", I answered.

"Do you even know how to apologize bruh? Coz I sure as hell don't", Jake said.

"All he gotta say is that he's sorry for misbehaving with her", Dre said.

"Misbehave? Bro we misbehave for a living! What makes you think she's gonna believe him?" Jake asked.

"Coz he's never apologized to anyone before and the whole school knows that. So if he apologized to her I'm positive she'll believe him. Plus girls love when a nigga admits that he's wrong and apologizes for it", Dre said convincingly.

"Dre's right. So I'll do it", I said.

"Is she worth it bro?" Marc asked looking at me curiously.

"Yes", I answered.

"Then I'm with you on this", Marc said and I smiled at him.

"Fine. Since you like her so much I'll support you bro. So, when will you do it?" Jake said looking at me.

"The next time I see her", I said.

"You've gotta do it in front of her friends so that they believe you too coz I'm pretty sure they hate you and they're a big influence ", Dre said.

"Okay. That's cool", I said.

The next day at school I saw her with her friends on the school lawn but when she saw me she got up and left with her friends. She looked at me like I was her worst nightmare. I never saw her again for the rest of the day.

All weekend I thought about her. I couldn't get my mind off her. I've gotta apologize to her soon. I can't stand her looking at me like I'm a monster. I'm going to apologize to her Monday. Nothing's gonna stop me from doing that.

Finally Monday came and it was another week in school. I'm now in class waiting for lunch break so I can find her and apologize to her.

"I feel like I've been in this motherfucking class for hours", I said impatiently.

"I feel ya bro. I'm bored outta ma goddamn mind", Marc said.

Just then the bell rang and we left class. During lunchtime I search for her but didn't see her anywhere.

"Yo bro. There she is", Dre said to me and I followed his gaze.

I spotted her on the school lawn laughing and talking with her friends.

"Here's your chance bro", Marc said.

"Yup. Here goes nothing", I said walking towards her.
