Sasuke's POV

Everything seemed fine. Everything seemed more than fine, maybe perfect.

Naruto's face was dangerously close to mine. Temptingly close.

We both leaned in, I think. I can't remember. All I can remember is how much I longed for that moment. How good his lips felt against mine.

However, nothing lasts forever. Kiba came barreling around the corner.

"Sasuke! You need to come here right now! Naruto, go home, okay?"

Naruto frantically nodded and I helped him into the car to take him home. I waved goodbye to him and ran off to follow Kiba.

"You know I still hate you, right Kiba?"

"I know," a smirk played across his face.

We hopped into the car, and Kiba drove us to some weird house.

"Sakura's trapped in there!"

"Why should I give a damn?" I asked.

Kiba looked at me surprisingly.

"She's gonna die, Sasuke."

I huffed and got out, slamming the car door.

"What the fuck was she doing anyways? Is she fucking retarded?" I groaned, walking into the entrance.

"I don't hear her anywhere." I turned to look at Kiba who was now holding a knife. My eyes widened in shock.

"There is no Sakura. And now, when I get my lover, there will be no you. Now you have one of two choices. Either go down to the basement, and do what the hell you're told, or you can fight me but I'll get my people to kill Naruto."

I sighed in defeat, slumping my shoulders.

"Good boy." He turned around.

I lunged at him, but he immediately turned back and slashed me in the face.

"Alright, fine," I grumbled, walking towards the basement.

"Ah, fuck, it's gross down here," I whined.

"Shut the fuck up. Do you think this is a game?"

"Not unless you bring out a Monopoly board."

His eye twitched. I know how to get under his skin.

"Do you have a TV or something? It's bor-"

"Shut the fuck up, Sasuke!"

I smirked at him.

"What did I do?"

"I'll kill Naruto in a second."

"Then I'll kill you, so.."

His eyes widened.

"You could try."

"I would. The only reason you're not dead now is because the love of my life is in danger."

He walked up the stairs and a slam could be heard as it went dark.

My phone.. my phone!

I immediately dialed Naruto's number. No answer.

My heart began to race.

"What?"

I picked up.

"Sasuke? Sasuke is that you?"

"Oh, I'm so fucking glad you're okay. Are you safe?"

"There are strange men here. They're outside my door but they're not coming in."

"Naruto, for the sake of my heart, do not, I repeat, do not, go anywhere. They won't hurt you as long as you stay inside. You have freedom around the house but you cannot go outside."

The basement door opened.

"I gotta go, Naruto. I love you."

"I love you too."
