"It's time," shouted Abaddon. He stood on top of the tallest boulder in front of hundreds of demons; hellhounds and even fallen angels. They all stared up at him with their armor on and weapons in their signature hand. "Estrella's water broke. The daughter of Lucifer's, Danika, will be born in a matter of time. She has chosen to deliver on Earth and it is now our job to make it safe for her to do so and to protect the little girl. We will lose our own today, many of us will fall. But our king is requesting this of us and if you can't give this to him then get on your knees now like the coward you are!" Abaddon paused momentarily, long enough to give anyone the chance to get down on their knees but no one ever did. "it's time for us to travel to Earth and surround the hospital. No Archangel, angel, or any specie of the sort will be allowed in... are you ready?"
The demons and fallen angels roared loudly, shaking the ground underneath Abaddon's feet and he knew right at this moment that they were ready for the war of their lives.

"Things are going smoothly so far..." Estrella said tiredly.

Lucifer stared out the hospital's window at the sky and occasionally at the parking lot, searching for any sign of his siblings. The thunderstorm's condition had worsen since Estrella's water broke, now the town was under a tornado watch.

"It won't last long," he mumbled underneath his breath. Estrella frowned. "but I won't let them harm you nor her."

The door opened and Lucifer sped across the room, slamming whoever walked in against the wall in a chokehold. He was on the verge of killing them until he recognized his brother's eyes and released him.

"Tension is high, eh?" asked Abaddon, fixing the collar of his shirt.

"Don't sneak up on me like that."

"Noted," Abaddon said. "the hospital is surrounded. No one is getting in without our knowledge and this floor is walking with demons. No one is getting near this room without us nearby either."

Estrella felt a wave of relief sweep over her, followed by another painful contraction. She gripped the bed's railings and whimpered loudly, trying to follow the breathing techniques but it wasn't easing anything. Abaddon glanced at her then back towards Lucifer.

"If either one you abandons your station, I will make the punishment unbearable. Make sure the others know that, and I want to be informed immediately if they're coming. Understood?"

"Of course, brother."

"Now go," Lucifer commanded. "you're in charged. I'm not leaving this room unless I have no other choice."

Lucifer turned and scrolled back to the window, while Abaddon left the room. Once the contraction stopped, Estrella exhaled.

"This hurts too much..."

Lucifer looked at her. Her forehead was covered in sweat and she looked weak.

"You're strong, Estrella."

Michael marched into the oval room where the Archangels were having a meeting without him. He was beyond furious and the tension in the room was overwhelming.

"Did you know the human is in labor?!"

"Inside voice, Michael," said Raphael calmly. "indeed, we do know."

"And none of you are going to do anything about it?"

"The child hasn't been born yet," spoke Uriel. "when the child is born and IF Lucifer doesn't come to his senses and commit the crime on his own... we will step in."

Michael paced back and forth anxiously, shaking his head.

"Lucifer won't do it! We all know that and we're just sitting back and waiting for that abomination to be born into the world!"

"You and I both know that Lucifer has her protected," Raphael spat. "we won't be able to reach her without causing chaos. In front of humans, if I may add. We will hold our positions until I give the order to attack," the anger in Michael's eyes burned flames. "if you can't keep a level head, brother... then I must ask you to leave."

"Fine," spat Michael. "I'll leave but when you come running back to me because you're all cowards. I won't forgive easily."

He marched off, slamming the doors shut behind him. His heart was pounding loudly in his ears as he walked. His Father wouldn't want this to happen this way, and he knew he had to do something before it was too late. Even if that meant disobeying Raphael.
