Gabriel

For nearly a month now me and Gabriel had been fighting over him leaving his family to fight each other. He didn't want to get involved so he ran from his problems instead of trying to stop it. It had been two weeks since you last saw him because of something you both said to the other.

Flashback

"Gabriel I don't see why you won't try and stop this." I said sitting on my bed.

"Not my fight sugar." He said annoyed.

"Yes it is. Gab they are your family! Yo I should be trying to work this out." I said standing up.

"You wouldn't understand." He said looking away from me.

"And why is that?" I asked softly.

"Cause you don't have a family! Yours is dead! All you have is a uncle who barely talks to you!" Gabriel snapped looking at me angry.

I looked at him shocked and looked away.

"At least I'm not so weak I run from all of my problems." I said turning away from him.

I heard the flutter of wings and turned to see that he was gone.

End flashback

Since he left I had been getting more angry at him. I had called Castiel and asked if he had spoken to Gabriel but it was no use. Gabriel went back in hiding and was no where to be found.

Today I was doing my normal routine of cleaning the house when I heard a knock on my door. I groaned as I put the broom down and walked over to the door and open it. I felt anger boil up inside of me as I open it to see Gabriel.

"Can I help you?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

"I came to say sorry." He said softly.

"Well I don't want to hear it." I said going to shut the door.

He stopped the door and I pushed him back only to have him grab my wrists and pull me against him.

"Listen to me for once!" He snapped glaring down at me.

"Me listen to you! You have been gone for two weeks! What friend leaves for two weeks and doesn't contact the other!" I yelled pushing against his chest.

"The friend who cares about the other deeply! The friend who only thinks of keeping the other safe! From stopping his brother from taking her away from him! The friend who is in love with her!" He snapped glaring down at her.

"You.... love me?" I asked shocked.

"Yes! Why do you think I didn't want to get fight them! All I want is for this to be over! The fighting! The pain! The death! I can't fight! I won't!..... not if it puts you in harms way." He said looking at me sadly.

"Gabriel..... I didn't know.. I thought it was because you where to scared to fight." I whispered as I looked up at him.

"I am scared..... scared of losing you.. scared of watching my family die.... scared of living alone." He said sadly.

"Gabriel look at me. I am not going anywhere. I will always be here. Waiting for you to return here so I can pick up the broken pieces..... you said I didn't have a family well I do.... I have you. Your my family and all I want is you safe and happy." I said leaning up and pecking his lips.

He sighed in bless as he kissed me back and pulled me closer to him. I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck and he backed me into my house and shut the door with a snap of his fingers.

"Oh and I love you too. My guardian angel." I said pulling away and smiling up at him.

"And I love you.... sugar." He said kissing me again.
