Okay, so I get this question all the time, so I thought I'd just publish it. If any of you have asked me about this before or talked to me about this before, then I always answer it the same way because...well, there really is only one solution in my opinion.
What to do about writer's block
Listen very carefully, my friends, because we all know that whether it was when we were writing a paper for class or we were working on a story of our own, writer's block has always been there to sabotage our efforts. Sucks, right? So what do you do about it? You think of a new plot or angle to whatever you're writing and pull a classic Katherine101 trick. You pull a twist.
Now for those of you that have read anything I've ever written (and I do apologize for the mistakes, but I'm editing! I'm editing!) then you know that I always have a trick up my sleeve. Some sort of plot twist or turn that usually drivers my readers up the wall, but hey! I'm Katherine101 ;)
Basically, you should start to think outside the box and try to get an idea that never would've come to you before. Something completely new and fresh to get your creativity flowing again. Fresh and clean is a great way to get your mind back on track and into your story and a twist is a great way to keep your readers interest and tie the old part of the story and the new part together. It's so painfully simple and easy that I don't know why nobody thinks of it! You just have to be careful that your twists aren't to crazy or your readers will probably be like: "Wtf did I just read?"
Another great way to overcome writer's block is to think of something in a different way entirely or to go back to whatever inspired you to write your story in the first place. I hope this helped and if it didn't, then I'm sorry! If it did, then I'm glad I could help! If you have any other questions you wanna ask me, then feel free to leave me a question and I'll try and answer it when I can!
