CHAPTER 17

-

Opening my eyes, I feel my back hurting slightly. I run a hand through my messed up hair while slowly getting up from the bed. My stomach grumbles and aches because I haven't had a proper meal in this past week.

Should I wash up first or eat?, I wonder.

It's a tough question because as hard it's for me to believe but it's true, I didn't even wash up myself since a week. God knows, how bad I smell someone might die, if they were standing a few steps away from me.

A low groan escape my mouth as I move out of my bed. My feet touching the cold floor, sending shivers up my spine, guess have to check the temperature of my room.

I walk into the bathroom, switching on the lights. The first thing I notice is what I am wearing.

Still wearing Jimin's shirt. Earlier it had his smell all over but now I only smell myself. Staring at my reflection in the bathroom mirror, I begin to unbutton the white shirt with shaky hands. The shirt slowly slide off my body, falling on the white floor. I look down on my bare feet slowly turning around to see the reflection of my back in the mirror.

I turn my head to the right a little, staring into the mirror. The marks left on my body are fading away, not completely but they are not as dark as they were a week ago when I first saw myself in the mirror.

The little marks around my spine, so many hickies over my skin. The red bruise on my butt cheeks, it doesn't hurt. At least, now I don't feel numb anymore.

I rub my fingers through my light bruise on my butt, the night flashes in front of my eyes again. I shake my head, sighing deeply.

"I hope they go away quickly," I say to myself while turning towards the small bath area. Opening the shower faucet handle, I let the cold water slide down my naked body. With eyes shut, water soaking me and pulling away the wet hair back. Had only one thought in my head,

How will I face both Jimin and Jeongguk?

After taking a nice shower for like 20 minutes, I wear a comfortable pair of silk pajamas that are pastel pink in color. Drying my hair with a dryer, I brush them softly. My hair are not naturally straight, they are slightly wavy in texture.

I walk down into my living room slowly, hoping no one's around. The first thing, I'll do is change my pass code and this time I'll put something no one can ever guess.

Glancing on the clock, I bite my lip. It's 10 p.m. I walk into the kitchen, my stomach grumbling to tell me how hungry I am. I open the refrigerator door, hoping there would be any food to fill my hunger but my all hopes crashes down when I see only a box of kimchi and few soda cans so I slam it close quickly.

"Why I have to be so dependent on him?" I groan in frustration.

Jimin is the one who takes care of my food supplies. My fridge has never been empty because he always keeps a check on it. Even though I usually eat take outs, he still prefers to fill up my refrigerator time to time.

I pat my stomach, frowning slightly, "I am so hungry," I'll have to step out of my house to eat something now. Yeah, there's a convenience store just around the corner.

Without even bothering to change, I grab my wallet, phone and walk out of the house. Before leaving, I didn't forget to change the pass code and I make sure this time no one can guess it.

Not even Jimin.

_

I open the door of the store. The bell above the door clangs alerting the staff that someone has entered. I look around the place after entering, not many people are here. Just the cashier and few more people minding their own business. Without wasting any time, I walk towards the instant food section.
