Callie and Lexi Adams Foster walked into their home, a very dark home and walked toward the kitchen. "Why is it so dark?" Callie asked as Lexi got a bat and they proceeded for the backyard and walked out as Callie clutched her wife's arm.
They were in the backyard as the lights were turned on. Once the lights were turned on, they were shocked to see all their kids, their grandchildren and their parents and family friends.
"SURPRISE! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!" their kids' shouted as a banner was lowered to the ground. The moms' were honored, moved and touched as they wiped their tears. They composed themselves and all.
"Nana? Grandma? How long have you two been married?" Elizabeth asked. She is now eleven as are Elias and Elliott. And Pablo and Drake's three oldest kids and Paolo and Dylan's three oldest kids.
Callie and Lexi stayed quiet for a few minutes and both grinned as they eyed Elizabeth.
"Too long to count," Lexi blurted out. "We stopped counting after twenty years."
"It is like you never ask a woman their age," Callie replied as Elizabeth nodded as Callie scooped her up in her arms and the girl wrapped her legs around her nana's waist.
Natalie eyed this and her eyes went wide. "MAMA. PUT HER DOWN!"
"I used to carry you when you were twelve," Callie protested.
"That was ages ago and you were a lot younger," Natalie added as Callie gave her a slight glare.
"Are you calling me old Natalie Marie?" Callie asked.
"No. Mom is old," Natalie added as she burst out laughing as both moms' glared at her.
"Babe she called me old." Lexi added fake hurt.
"I will deal with her," Callie replied as she still carried Elizabeth in her arms as five year old Natasha came over and bit Elizabeth in the left leg twice and the older girl burst into tears. Cassie and Charlotte took Natasha inside as Callie tended to Elizabeth.
"It hurts!" Elizabeth wailed as Natalie and Deanna came running over.
"What happened?" the moms' asked.
"JAWS BIT ME!" she added was teeth marks.
"Natasha?" the moms'asked as Elizabeth reached out for her baby girl and the girl put head on her mama's shoulder and cried as Natalie rubbed her back.
Inside the house, Natasha was in timeout. "We don't bite!" her moms' added as the five year old nodded with her head down. "You are in timeout for thirty minutes," Charlotte added in a firm tone.
Cassie went to see how Elizabeth was and went up to Deanna and Natalie. "How is Lizzie?"
"She's fine," Natalie added. "She actually fell asleep."
"We feel bad. None of the other little kids bite. Just Natasha," Cassie added as she kissed Elizabeth on her forehead and apologized again.
Stef and Lena came to see Callie and Lexi. "What happened?"
"Natasha bit Elizabeth and it was hard. Her whole arm is bright red and she bit her twice," Callie added as she sighed. "I'm shocked she hasn't bit anyone at school."
"Mama. Don't jinx us," Cassie added. "That's just what we need. Our five year old daughter suspended or expelled from Kindergarten."
Lexi laughed and her daughter eyed her with a glare. "Mom!"
"Sorry," Lexi added as she took a swig of beer and no one saw that Andrew and August were drinking and Harry didn't want to. Autumn and Summer each had a beer and drank as well.
