the spring break is done and we are obliged to go back to school, i finished preparing my self as i am ready to go out

"grandma, i should go now" i kissed her cheeks and waved to her as i go out of the house

"be back early, okay?" she shouted from the living room

i nodded and smiled without her knowing, i am walking my way to my school since it's just a 10-minute walk from my house

i am still bothered by the sudden revelations i've heard last night,

"you have a twin brother, you are not an only child" my grandma revealed

i shook my head, "it's the same in the stories you've told me before! are you sure you're not confused? you must be thinking that way because you're old"

she grabs my shoulders using her two hands, facing her "even though i am old, i am not crazy Li Chunhua"

i nodded, "o-of course. y-you are not crazy, grandma"

she sighed, "now, listen to me. you can make any wishes and your twin brother will make them come true even if you are far with each other"

she showed me the pictures in the album, "but your wishes will 100% come true if both of you are near with one another"

"do you have any proofs, grandma?"

she looked around the place, "try to make a simple wish, a wish that can't be found in the house"

i closed my eyes and clasped my hands together, "i wish" i sighed, "i wish for a red rose right now!"

i opened my eyes and was stunned by the red rose infront of me, still doubting

"are you sure you're not the one who put them there, grandma?"

"do we have any roses here? silly kid!" she laughed

"i know right!" i smiled, "when can i meet my twin brother, grandma?"

her smile caused by laughing faded from her lips, "fate will bring you together"

"when was that?"

"when i'm dead", that's cruel!

"and always remember this, don't tell anyone about you having this kind of power except for your twin brother"

i am thinking on what happened last night when i suddenly bumped in to someone, losing my balance and making me fall backwards, lucky he catched me beforehand

we stared for awhile, still in the position, he does have beautiful eyes; when we both realize our situation, i quickly moved away from him and pick the books that were scattered awhile ago

he helped me to pick some of them, handed my books to me and i bowed, "i'm really sorry for being clumsy"

he shook his head, "no, it's okay. you should be more careful next time" he squint his eyes as he reads my name tag, "L-Li, Li Chunhua!"

"ah yes! nice to meet you! you are?"

he reached for my hands to shake with his, "i'm Zhang Yankai", we both shake our hands

but we were shocked when we both feel electrified, and laughed awkwardly

i realized that we both have the same uniform but his face is unfamiliar to me, "are you new here?"

we're infront of the school's gate, by the way

"i am" he smiled, "how about you?"

"i've been studying in this school since i was in junior middle school" i paused for awhile

"we should walk now going to the school?" he laughed and we walked upon going inside the school as we both talk to each other

"you've been here for a long time already, you should be my tour guide moreover be my first friend!" he exclaimed

i smiled, "that depends if you'll be my classmate!" i left him infront of the principal's office

"you'll talk to them and i'll go ahead, okay?" i patted his shoulder but he's too tall so it's like a tap

he ruffled my hair, "let's see each other again soon"

i bowed and turned my back to him as i walk farther, "DON'T BE TOO CLUMSY!" i heard him shout, i nodded

"LI CHUNHUAAAAAA!" i heard someone calling my name so i look up from my seat to see who it was

"HUANG MEIQIIIII" she ran to my place and we both hugged, "i miss you so so muuuuch!"

"we did not see each other for only 15 days, don't be such a drama queen!", she sits infront of me since it was her table, she has Li Quanzhe as her seatmate while mine is vacant

she took a handful of chocloates from her bag and drops them on my table, "here, it is fresh from South Korea. you know we went there during the spring break!"

it must be really fun to be rich, "are you really giving them to me? thank you so much!" i squealed as i hugged her

"i'm sorry if i don't have any to give", i pouted and let go of the hug

she pinch my cheeks, "it's okay! having my bestest friend as the spring flowers is already the best that you could give"

oh right, chunhua means spring flowers. i am special during the spring she said that's why she spoils me with foods

i nudge meiqi and points to the front of the classroom, she quickly arranged her things and focus to the person infront

Ms. Zhou taps her stick on the table, getting the attention of everyone and making them run back to their seats

"we have a new student for this semester, he is from the America but he is an ABC so he's fluent in mandarin", Ms. Zhou looks to the door as we all look as well

"come in", a guy with a tall figure came in, oh my gosh "please introduce yourself"

"hello everyone! i am Zhang Yankai. please take care of me" he bows to the class and smiled

meiqi turned her head to see me, she mouthed "HANDSOME!", i smiled and nodded

Ms. Zhou scans the whole room, "you can sit beside Li Chunhua. please take care of him, our vice president"

i smiled widely with a hint of excitement, he walked towards me, and he put his things on the table next to mine

"we meet again" he smiled as he sits, he's too much of smiles for this day

i chuckled, "yeah, i guess"

he wraps his hands around my shoulder, "let's be friends from now on, okay? help me through everything and let's share each other's secrets"

i smiled awkwardly as i heard the last few words, even my secret as an unordinary person? i'll try.
