Seeing these people around me with their glittering eyes full of mixed emotions, fear, courage, sadness, pain, and even cover-up happiness was like a kind of rope that encouraged me to hold on tightly.

During calamities, you shouldn't think about how to survive alone. But start thinking about how to survive with a lot of people.

Hindi lang iilang beses na tumalon ako mula sa aking eroplano patungo sa pinakamalalaking karagatan sa mundo para lamang iligtas ang sarili ko sa pagsabog.

Muling natahimik ang kabilang linya pero alam kong hindi niya ito pinapatay.

"Pedro, I'm fine. J-Just come back, I want to see your blue eyes again.." He bitterly laughed.

"Behati.."

"Yes.."
