My Girl - The Temptations

Life Of The Party - Shawn Mendes

I woke up around 11 in the afternoon. Along with Connor. It was a long night and I was expectinghttp://youtu.be/iUSQrSk0cJk many things this morning. I wasn't nervous just curious as to what Connor had to say about all of it. I myself have guessed already that 3 of them had been sneaking around my back for a while now. It just frustrates me how really stupid I can be with things like that sometimes.

"You ready to explain?" I say sitting on the chair. He sighs and sits down on the bed. We didn't really have anything going on at all today so we were still in our night clothes.

"Okay what did Hallie tell you?" He said rubbing his hands against his thighs. It was pretty cold in the room and I could tell his palms were sweating.

"It doesn't matter what she told me. I just want to know happened and is it that you were keeping behind my back." I say not taking my eyes of his.

"Okay well the girl's name was Lia. She's Hallie's twin obviously." I nodded for him to continue. "In my senior year I started talking to Lia. I ended up taking her virginity and she thought we were going to get married after or something." He said and rolled his eyes.

It made me think that maybe he felt the same way with me. I actually thought we could have been a very long lasting relationship. I had hope in him. I wonder at what point he decided that he actually wanted to date me. Him rolling his eyes after saying that about Lia made me feel pathetic. We were probably similar to Connor in many ways. For one we both thought we had a chance.

"I guess I just let her think we were dating. I don't know a bunch of shit happened. I had slept with Hallie when I was drunk and she broke up with me for like 30 minutes." I stayed with a straight face not wanting to show Connor the emotions I was feeling inside. "She was a really nice girl. I'm just explaining her wrong. I had made her grades go down which lead to her parents forcing her to not see me ever again. She snuck out at night and we went to high school parties."

"She was accepted to NSU in Nevada. She wanted to keep a long distance relationship and I didn't really agree. I didn't break up with her either because I had really grown to like her after all. She was just really nice and different from her sister. So once she left I guess I missed her. I went to Hallie thinking it would help getting over her but it didn't" He got up and his voice was getting quiter. He started walking around the room and I stared at him.

"Then I met you. I had totally forgotten about her. Hallie told me she called asking to visit me but I said no. After months she hadn't given up and I started talking to Hallie again. So I was only talking to her because of Lia. I had seen her more than a few times now and I'm sorry. Hallie just didn;t like that I was doing that to her sister after all the history." He finished. I was left completley dumb founded at to what to say to him.

So that's why he was always around Hallie. I wish he would have told me this earlier but then again I don't. This is a lot to take in. Seeing how he hid so much from me. I could care less because I would't really tell anyone seeing it's none of their buisness. It's just putting all the pieces together I wish I never kept pushing the subject aside. Because what if I was just another repeat of Lia.

"So what happened to her now?"

"She's changed. A lot. She's identical to HaIllie now." He knew I didn't really want to say much about what he told me. Even though I had a lot to say. I brought my eyes down to the ground once he had told me that.
