A sent a couple of clues as he flagged a taxi. They referred to her current location and Sherlock had already deduced that she was at work. He knew she worked with animals but she wasn't a Veterinarian, which narrowed it down a bit as to which establishments she might work at.

"The Zoo or Aquarium, perhaps..." He murmured to himself as he mixed and matched different biological professions to what A had divulged, "Travels on occasion and works both outside and indoors- lab work most likely... Research?"

"Oi, you've got to tell me where we're going!" The cabbie butted in.

"I would pay you extra if you just drove silently. Preferably quickly and towards the Museums, Zoo and Aquarium." Sherlock hissed back. The cabbie shook his head but stayed quiet.

He pursed his lips as his mind sputtered and burst with theories. Within a few minutes he ruled out a few possibilities.

It took him a few more minutes before he scolded himself for not immediately thinking of the London Natural History Museum

It took him a few more minutes before he scolded himself for not immediately thinking of the London Natural History Museum. It fit the bill perfectly.

He apprised the cabbie and paid a few quid more to assure fast transport

Sherlock smirked, "You underestimate the Hat Detective, A. I calculate that I will catch you before half five."

He put together the rest of the clues in his mind and concluded that she was in the Life Sciences department which put her near most of the taxidermy galleries and live exhibits. She handles and works with animals. That is probably where she'll be.

Sherlock jumped from the taxi and handed the cabbie a generous payment before dashing up the steps and into the museum. From there he examined the museum map and isolated the zones where he would have the best chances of finding his enigmatic text pal.

He also checked the events lists. There was only at the time and it was on gemstones, so he disregarded it and decided to start his search in the Wildlife Garden. Every woman he detected who appeared to be employed at the institution were given a thorough deduction before he moved on.

Finally he moved into the Ornithology Gallery- where many taxidermied specimens of birds were on display. It was somewhat empty and calm. Given A's personality, he had a better feeling about locating her there. So he slowed down and took his time. He didn't want her to see him and take off to hide again.

So he took quiet steps around the halls and kept his phone out to use to verify A when he thought he'd caught up to her. He moved from the birds to the reptiles and amphibians, however, before deciding to steal into the archives and research centre.

Mycroft's pass did the trick.

Sherlock again took his time. He ventured through the hallways and chambers for a while before emerging into a long, wide corridor. He was deciding which door of the four which were available when one of them opened and a short young woman exited. Her nose was in a clipboard so she didn't see him as she walked across the corridor.

Sherlock smirked and hid behind the corner.

To his satisfaction, the woman's mobile buzzed in her pocket

To his satisfaction, the woman's mobile buzzed in her pocket. She stopped and took it out to look at the message. She considered for a moment and then texted back.

The woman indeed had a short ponytail and the text timing was all he needed

The woman indeed had a short ponytail and the text timing was all he needed. He silently treaded up behind her as she resumed her walk to the other door.

As she reached out for the handle and twisted the knob the slightest bit, Sherlock thrust his hand out and pushed against the heavy metal door, keeping the lady from opening it. His arm was parallel to her head and quite close.

She jolted for a second, "What-!?" When she turned and saw a smirking Sherlock there her rosy cheeks flushed red.

"Hello, A."
