Draco's POV

I had left the common room earlier than Granger today, I hadn't slept at all, actually. Something about last night danced in my mind.

The possibility of being attracted to Granger, or the fact that she downright admitted to noticing it.

Sitting down at the Slytherin table, a pair of blue eyes kept lingering on me. I looked upward and saw Rose.

Great

She smiled, waving in my direction as she bit her lip. I looked away, unable to bear the sight.

Suddenly, Blaise sat beside me. His plate was filling up by the second. He never usually eats this much.

"What's got your knickers in a twist?" I asked, he took a quick glance at the Gryffindor table and back toward me.

"I need to talk to you about something. Meet me tonight at the towers, before dusk. It's fairly important." Blaise hadn't looked me directly in the eye.

There was something up.

Before I got to ask a question, he rose from his seat and walked away – the full plate in his hands.

I looked toward the Gryffindor table, seeing Weaslette mirroring his actions. Granger looked confused, her eyes locked with mine, I raised an eyebrow at her, she simply just shrugged.

She broke the gaze and stood up, walking out of the great hall.

My mind was uneasy. Why had Zabini been acting up? And most questionable, why did Weaslette follow him out?

I had a sudden thought, I got up from my seat, leaving my plate unattended. I walked out of the great hall and watched as the Brunette came to a stop. Yet, I was still walking toward her. She turned around, bumping into me.

Her eyes widened in shock, lavender filled the cold air. Her eyes locked with mine once more. Lost in her eyes, I hadn't noticed how close together we were, my hands suddenly found their way to her waist, pulling her toward me, closing any air particles that may have separated us.

One of my hands brushed her cheek, placing a strand of hair behind her ear. Her arms gave in, they rested against my chest.

I leaned in, my head tilting toward her, her breath smelt of toothpaste and blueberries. Her eyes shut, following her actions, so did mine.

Before we were able to close the space remaining between our bodies, a strong male voice made itself known.

She jumped backward, revealing behind her the dark boy who stood, arms crossed leaning against the wall with a smirk.

Zabini

She looked at me once more before walking off in the direction of Zabini. He watched her and smirked.

"Granger," He acknowledged her.

"Zabini," Passing him, she responded with a nod, to both of our surprises. With that, she had vanished out of sight. Zabini walked toward me with a smirk.

I glared at him.

"So much for not being fond of her, mate." He said swiftly. Without hesitation, I groaned. The arrogant smile swiped my face once more.

"Can we not use words like 'fond', mate?" I replied.

"Attracted?" He nudged me.

"Shut up," I replied with a smirk.
