Chapter 14: What Really Did Happened?

That entire day, I stayed in my room, scared to know what had happened. I drank too much and faintly remember kissing Jax, but how did Danny get in my bed? How did we have sex? He told me that he only has sex with girls he loves?

"It's Vicki." Vicki said, knocking on my door and coming in my room with a hotdog and hamburger. "I figured you were hungry." She laid the plate on the bed. I didn't say a word. "Are you okay?" She asked.

I didn't know if I was okay or not. I didn't know how to tell her. I'm still questioning if Danny is the same guy that I first met. He wouldn't take do something like that to me. But would he. I looked up at her and she could tell something was wrong.

"Did anything crazy happen last night?" I asked as Vicki took a second to think about it.

"Other than you dancing very drunk, which was hilarious." I chuckled. "Brandon and I headed to bed after you and Jax went outside. You mentioned something about skinny dipping." Flashbacks of Jax and I kissing on the beach, appeared in my head. "Is everything okay? You don't look well." Vicki asked again.

"I-I don't know." I started to cry. "I think Danny and I had sex when I blacked out. H-he was in my room this morning." Vicki's face got angry, she's never the type that get's angry very often. "Jax and I kissed and Danny pulled me away. I think Jax punched him and told him to leave me alone or something like that. I can't remember." I laid my face in a pillow as I hear Vicki scream Jaxs' name.

I could hear him running up the stairs and opening the door as fast as he could. Brandon must of followed him because of how Vicki screamed.

"What's going on?" Jax said as I looked up and he saw me. "What happened?" Brandon asked as then both sat on the bed. Vicki looked at Jax and asked very straight and forward.

"Did you sleep with Maddie last night?" Vicki asked. Brandon gave a look to Jax and then me. "She can't remember because she woke up this morning naked and Danny was in her room.

"That fucking dick!" Jax got up and ran to the door, but Brandon stopped him. "Move so I can beat the shit out of him!"

"Do you want to go to jail for a prick like him? No, don't worry about it. I will handle it. Vicki come with me, and you stay with her." Brandon left as he went downstairs with Vicki. Jax stayed with me as he sat down next to me.

Jax looked down at the floor in shame. "I should've just stayed with you." He said putting his head in his hands. "I left you by yourself because I didn't want you to be upset with me if we were to do anything."

"Its okay."

"No it's not okay!" He stood up from the bed, looking down at me. "It's not okay that he did that to you when you weren't in the state of mind to consent. You can't justify his actions, Maddie."

"I'm not! Stop blaming yourself for what happened to me. I'm not yours to worry about!" I shouted at him. "What's going to happen when I leave for school? You going to live outside my dorm?" Jax looked straight at me.

"You're leaving for school?"

"I'm sorry, you weren't supposed to find out that way." I said getting up and trying to stop him from leaving my room. "Jax, please, let me explain!"

"No, you explained enough." He said, leaving my room and I cried even more. I was going to bring it up to him today. Another stupid mistake. I wasn't enjoying myself, I was ready to leave and go start college now.

I haven't seen Jax in over a week. I was worried about him. Danny came out and told us that he wanted to piss off Jax, so he scared me on purpose. Brandon told him to never speak to me ever again. I must of got naked after Jax left me in my room. When I get drunk, I like to be naked when I sleep sometimes.

In my mind, I had forgotten about it. I figured that I should just focus on school, but tomorrow was my birthday. I wanted to just enjoy my birthday. I had already packed a little bit of my stuff for college. I had talk to one of the managers at the gift shop, and they need someone to work part time, so I'll be starting my new job in two days, plus I was able to get into my dorm the same time.

My brother walked into my room and saw some up my stuff in boxes. "I know you won't be far, but I think that this will be go for you." He said, hugging me. "I'll get some of that stuff to pick in your car."

I paused and thought about what my brother just said. "My car?" Brandon smiled as he showed me outside, a brand new Jeep that was colored black. "Are you serious? You didn't have to, Brandon!" I hugged him as he gave me the keys. I was so excited. "Thank you so much!"

"You're welcome. I figured that you are going off to college, you need a way to get there and back. Promise you'll visit me when you can." He said.

"I promise!" I said, still hugging him. "I'm gonna load up my stuff in my new car, so that I'll be able to leave tomorrow afternoon." Brandon and I loaded up all my stuff and I sat on the porch swing. I wanted to smoke, so I went back in and saw something on my bed.

I sat down and saw the box on my pillow. It had my name on a note, when I opened it up, it was from Jax. The note said:

Princess,

This is for you. Happy Birthday.

Call me if you want some birthday sex ;)

I smiled after reading the note. As I opened the box, I wanted to cry. It was a beautiful necklace that had a dream catcher charm on it. I started to cry, but I laugh when I saw a rolled joint, in the box as well. I put the necklace on and put the joint in my mouth.

I wanted to light it, but I didn't want to light it without Jax. So, I pulled out my phone and dialed his number.

"Happy Birthday, Princess." I heard Jax's voice say.

"Thank you for the necklace, I love it."

"You calling for some birthday sex? I can be there in two." I laughed.

"Well, I wanted to know if you wanted to smoke this joint in my room, one last time before I head off to college tomorrow." I asked. "Please?"

"You are leaving tomorrow?" He sounded sad when he said that.

"Tomorrow afternoon."

"Come to the Hilton Hotel. I have a surprise for you. Ask for me and they will hand you a key." He then hung up. So much for a goodbye. I got up put the joint in my purse and then got into my new jeep and drove over to the Hilton.
