The Serpentine were trying to find the second Fangblade. Pythor stopped, guessing that there was probably a hidden trap. Scales walked into him and Pythor glared daggers at him.
"Why mussst we ssstop when the next fangblade is just ahead of usss?" Scales hissed at Pythor.
In response, Pythor hit his staff on the floor and the ground fell down.
"What good is it to unlock the great Devourer with the four fangblades if we're not around the see it!? Get the girl!" Pythor says to Scales and calls out.
"Bring the girl!"
Two snakes escorted Nya to Pythor. She had a chain around her torso and arms. The two snakes took the chain off.
"Fetch." Pythor orders and shoves Nya at the edge of the stones that still was sitting on the wall.
Trying to jump over a gap, she slipped on the edge; but grabbed a stone so she was able to pull herself back up.
"Bring me the fangblade, and I'll let you go." Pythor says to Nya.
Nya walked slowly and as she did, more of the floor began to collapse underneath her. Nya ran fast so not to fall down. But the floor fell faster and Nya had to jump the last part. Bearly making it.
But the sealing began to lower. It was filled with spikes. Nya quickly crawled away narrowly avoiding become a shish-kebab.
Nya took a step forward but walked on a press plate. When she did, arrows fired out of the wall at her.
Nya managed to dodge all the arrows. But leant on the column in the middle of the way; the column then gave way pulling the ceiling down with it. Nya once again cheated death as she slid into a room at the end.
Nya walked up to the alter only to see that the Fangblade is gone.
"It's gone! Nya yelled to the snakes. It'ssss gone!?" Pythor exclaim. "Where issss it?" Scales asked himself.
(Y/N)'s P.O.V
I had slept in a lot longer then I had meant too. Lloyd had kept me up all night with his sugar rush. Then he threw up all over the floor just before Jay's parents were ready to leave.
