"Welcome to Bisbee, Arizona," Dean shot up out of the car, "population 5,565." This was the smallest town I had been in since I had been back home, 7 years ago. It brought back memories, small asphalt roads, rolling hills and mountain, and some of the friendliest yet most backstabbing town folk you'll meet. We headed for the local town bar to get the dig on the two men. "So what's our plan," Sam questioned. "These witch bitches don't kill without a motive," I walked into the front entrance of the bar, which like Dean smelled like cheeseburgers and beer. "Figure out the motive, catch the murderer," I investigated the features of Sam's face as he said this, he was so serious and focused. "Atta girl," Dean laughed as he rubbed my hair. I swatted him away as we found a table, I pulled out the papers and Sam pulled out his computer while Dean, I guess, just sat there using his "brain". "What can I get for you sweetie," the young waitress nodded at me. "Just the coldest of your best brew," I said. Sam and Dean both shot confused looks. "What, just because I'm a girl means that I can't enjoy a good cold one, what'd you expect me to get an appletini?"
We'd been sitting there for a few minutes drinking and studying, until all of it was interrupted.
"Cali, no matter what they did to you, you can't do that to those guys!"
"Mal, you don't understand it was a big decision, but I just had to okay, it was impulsive."
The girl named Mal stood there holding her bottom lip looking into the floor, it was almost as if she was looking for answer to what she had done wrong. I looked down for what seemed to be the slightest second, and as soon as I looked up I saw Dean over at the girls bar seats. He was kinda cute in his little get up, both the boys cleaned up nice.
"We couldn't help but overhear you conversation, and we just happen to be from the sheriffs department from the town over. We are investigating the murders of two citizens of the town, do you think you might know them. Their names were Ja-"
"Excuse, can you not see that she is going through a tough breakup here," the girl leaned in, "not only with one but two guys. She thought she could love them both but turns out it was just too much."
Sam and I both became hysterical and I tried to stop and buried my face into my elbow, and tried to settle down. It was only 9 and Dean already had a little too much to drink so Sam decided it might be better for all if he went home, so Sam took him back to the motel, because we have no time to settle down.
As Sam got back to the bar I had already had a lead. Suspiciously both of our victims had the same ex wife, Mrs. Leighann Kershaw. I had located her address and was ready to head out for the night. All of this travel had gotten to me! As soon as Sam entered the bar again I shoved all of the paper back into the folder and took one last sip of my beer. As I walked toward the door I noticed something out of the corner of my eye, a man in a suit and a hat, similar to the man in the pipe. I could feel it in my stomach I had to get out. I rushed towards the door and grabbed Sam on the way.
"Wait ,what's happening here?"
"Sam we have to go. Now!"
He shuffled to catch up with me . We walked back to the motel because we were both a little too intoxicated at this point.
"What was that about?" The look in his eyes were somewhat angry but still solemn.
"Something wasn't right in there?"
"What do you mean 'not right'?"
"The man in there he looked exactly like the vamp that almost killed me!"
As we passed the alley it was like the typical scene in a horror movie. The same guy standing in the alley in one spot of light. We started running, and that is the last thing I remembered.
