A: for your first question; yes, her parents were actually dead and weren't neglecting her for their work, since Brennan was quite a selfless girl and also didn't enjoy pity, she made it seem that her parents were just working all the time as they aren't mentioned throughout the book that much. As for the second part of your question; i wouldn't say that she had a crush on Daniel, she was looking for someone to complete her bucket list with, and would've gone with anyone that she stumbled upon I guess, but beside the obvious fact that the book was a daniel fanfic, it just so happened to be daniel--she did develope a crush towards the longer they hung out though

A: i guess i've always wanted to write a good meets bad trope, and also to make the girl the bad part of it, but i couldn't find a conflict that fit best. i think i would've gone with the cliche good tries to fix bad, instead of what i had made with this book, but because i really like angst, and knew this book wouldn't have much of it, i decided to go with her dying

A: i have this habit of creating the end of my stories before starting it, so yes, i did initially have the idea of her having cancer in the beginning. what gave me the idea was mainly from other books around, but the few ones i read, the character was able to overcome it and as much as i wish that could happen so easily, i had to be a bit more realistic

A: there's no sequel, i don't know what i'd write if there were to be a sequel and also, i already mentioned that i'd be taking a break from writing on wattpad

A: i probably would've ended it the same i did with How To Love, and have you guys decide whether they marry or not. I write a lot of my stories based of experiences i've witnessed from other people, or have witnessed myself, and because i've mentioned before that i've never been in a relationship, im not entirely sure how it works from my point of view. i solely write romance based off what i've seen, not gone through

A: you could say brennan was a selfless girl, almost to the point where she was too selfless and felt that there wasn't a point in continuing life when in the end, everyone's going to die anyway. adding the fact that she lost both her parents, she felt like she shouldn't bother fighting against it and letting it happen.
