Kristen's P.O.V.
Setting down a plate of pancakes, I sat down at the dining table. "Thanks, Kristen." Jason smiled, slathering syrup on his pancakes.
I grinned, looking at everyone. David and Liza were walking out of the kitchen, their hands filled with plates of bacon and eggs. Jason, Todd, and Corinna sat at the dining table, gushing over my pancakes. Zane, Heath, and Matt were just arriving, hanging their coats up. And, of course, Scotty was vlogging it all.
It was going to be his first video since... he tried to end his life.
"Syrup?" Jason asked, handing me the syrup.
"Thanks." I said, pouring some onto my pancakes and bacon. The mood was happy, smiling faces and laughs shared. I was content. We were content.

Walking into the living room, I closed my camera. I had just filmed a 'Cooking With Kristen' video, my new favourite thing, and had eaten everything I made. My mouth still tasted slightly like tacos.
"Watcha doing?" I asked the room, sounding slightly like Isabella from Phineas and Ferb.
"Editing." David replied from the couch, plugging his headphones into the laptop on his lap.
"Writing." Scotty's voice called from across the room.
I wandered over to where he was sitting on the couch, the other couch, not the one David was on. In his lap was his laptop, camera, and a notebook I've seen him with before. The notebook had 120 lined pages, and the cover was blue and green. He had gotten it from his brother Dorran a few years ago, yet it still looked brand new.
I could see him jotting down words with his blue pen, and I leaned over to read them. 'What's a party? I've never been. Well, I went to one once but I couldn't get in.' Was underlined with 'Sad Song' circled in the middle. A few other lines were underlined and scrambled about like, 'You're kinda cute, but your friend is a hottie. His shiny white teeth and his muscular body', 'If you're really sad, everything just turns out wrong. If you're really sad, let me hear you sing this song.'
"You like them?" He asked, noticing my reading. "These are just some, there's more on other pages."
I nodded, "They're great. How far are you in the song?"
"Almost done." He answered, grinning.
