Operation Rescue the Family

Kaitlyn's POV

Finally after what flet like hours when it was at most ten minutes the men leave. Leaving me to lie half conscious on my back my entire body still burning with fire, and the rods replaced with a shock collar. Now I truly am a caged animal.

My eyes loll to the side to see the awful number, 711, so perfectly written when it's so wrong it almost feels inappropriate to put the two together. I stop the putting thoughts immediately how could I think only think of myself and my pain when my friends were being cut open on the ride here.

My mind for the first time actually considers the fact that Charles could be my dad, and there's a small part of me that wished it were true, but a more rational dude argued how absurd that would be. My mom and Charles having a baby just seems to unexplainable to be true.

Nonetheless I hope they're on there way, and safely get everyone out of this hell hole. Just then I faintly hear the heavy Creek doors slamming open like someone running there hands down a piano.

Charles's POV

As soon as the plane lands everyone is rushing around to make sure everything is good to leave. We're a little bit aways from the facility to me sure no one noticed us, but not far enough to wreck our own plan.

"Are you sure you can watch her?" Peter questions eyeing me warily still clutching Maddie close to his chest. I small part of me breaks at how tense the boy had been since Kaitlyn was taken, but I don't blame him. Due to the mechanic issues they got a big jump on us, and it was a two hour fight here.

I'm tense to all of my students taken right from under my nose, my own... No I can't address her as that her mother made very clear I was to never interact with her, and her being at the school is probably pushing it. However I'm not sure Destiny ha much jurisdiction in this situation after how she's treated Kaitlyn for the post couple of years. Maybe I should've interviened sooner.

"Peter I promise I'll protect her with my life, but promise me you won't go straight for Kaitlyn. Being distracted on a mission will get the while team, as well as her, killed." I try to reason with him knowing that's what he planned on doing, but he seems to understand that he plays a key part in the plan. Just for reassurance I look to Erik to me sure he'll keep an eye on him, he nods smiling slightly before coming over and giving Maddie and Peter a kiss on the forehead.

"Okay guys remember Raven and Hank break into the control room deactivating all alarms and security systems, and find the labs and destroy any research they have on mutants" I instruct eyeing them to me sure they understand, but I know they do. "Then Erik and Peter get all of the students in cells out and on the plane, and if you have extra time to help Raven and Hank in the labs."

I usher them out of the open door staying completely still for awhile until Maddie starts to whimper. "It's all right little one, Mommy and Daddy will be back soon I promise" I whisper kidding her head earning a confused puppy look as if she's questioning who I am.

It's all right I've been doing that a lot lately.

Kelsey's POV

I stand up clinging to the door for help as I release a sharp hiss. Sure enough just like all of the others my door swings open, and despite the chance to run I stay hesitant that there's actually something keeping me in. Besides my legs are still numb I would be dead before I reached the next cell.

Next thing I know something only fast enough to be Peter pushes up to my door, and sure enough he's standing there hair blown in each direction as his eyes seem to look at me like he's still running. "Peter?" I croak stepping closer, but fall despite my efforts.
