I was standing outside of the Hufflepuff common room, waiting for Cedric, when my eyes met Victor's. The moment we locked eyes, he looked away, walking fast from where I was, not giving me another glance. And I didn't question it. After what happened a few days ago, he's been avoiding me as if I was the plague. And I didn't really blame him. But I still didn't like the way he was treating me. Still, I wasn't gonna corner him about it.

While I was dialing with such emotions, I heard the door to the common room open, I instantly straighten up my back and fixed my short black hair. Then my hands traveled to my clothes which I tried dusting off the nonexistent dust. And I looked at what I was wearing. Yellow sweater with black jeans, and some convers. I looked up, feeling my insides turn in excitement, and how the corners of my mouth turned upwards turning into a smile, until I noticed it was Olsen and not Cedric. My smile, fell instantly.

"That was rude." She said slightly pushing me with her hand, making me laugh. "First, I'm mostly ignored throughout the year, to find out you have a cr-" when I realized what she was gonna say, I rapidly cover her mouth and looked around.

"Shh. Are you planning on telling everyone." I said, still maintaining my hand over her mouth.

Olsen forcefully removed my hand. "O please, everyone already knows."

"Whatever. I thought you had already left."

"O no, I was talking to Cedric. Who by the way, has been waiting for you inside for like 20 minutes." She said, while pointing towards the door.

"Shut up. Seriously? I've been waiting here for ages." I gave her a small smile. "I'm gonna go look for him." I said, while walking towards the door, when Olsen stoped me.

"Wait." Her hands reached for something inside her bag. A hufflepuff scarf. "This is the scarf Cedric gave you on the first task. You left it on your counter, though you'd want it." She wrapped the scarf around my neck and we both smiled at each other.

"Thank you." I said, and we pulled each other for a hug.

"See you at the arena." And with that she left.

I looked towards the barrels, nervousness setting on my stomach. What was I going to tell him? Was I going to confess? Wish him good luck? Kiss him? No. I can't kiss him. Can I? Where not even a thing yet.

Before I turned crazy because of my thoughts, I decided to walk inside the common room. Just to get hit in the face by the doors.

"Bloody hell. That freaking hurts." I said, stepping away from the door, while grabbing my forehead.

"Oh, god, I'm so sorry." Said that voice I wanted so bad to hear.

I looked up, and there stood Cedric Diggory, in all his glory.

"Lilou! O gosh. I'm sorry, let me see." He said, while removing my hands from my forehead.

For some strange reason, he patted it with his hands and blew at it. It was strange, and kind of stupid, but I didn't question it. He looked cute. He looked down on me, and we locked eyes. His eyes where that beautiful shade of gray, I couldn't keep my eyes off. And today, today they had something special in them. They where bright, and glossy, and so sparkly and beautiful. I just couldn't look away.

"Admiring the view there Warmham?"

"You bet" I said, before I could stop myself, which made him laugh.

"What?" He question it. Making me look away, and turn red. "You don't need to answer that." He said. And that's when I noticed how close we where.

"You know, you can step away, I won't leave, or anything."

"How can I be sure of that." He said, without taking his eyes from me.

I looked up at him again, seeing him still smiling, but there was something that told me that that question was real, and not a joke.

"Let's bet."

"What?"

"Let's bet, if you're not the last one to get out of that maze, I'll tell you my answer to your feelings." And with that I gave him a chaste kiss on his cheek, and rapidly left the place, leaving him alone with his thoughts.

I found my way next to Olsen who was sitting next to the twins. I sat next to George, while Olsen sat at the other side of him, Fred sitting on her other side.

"Arent you hot with that?" Asked George when I was finally seated.

"Nope, not hot at all." I answerd while making my self comfortable in the seat.

"Are you sure?  Because you're bloody red." He said, his hand reaching for my forehead, my guess was that he was trying to check my temperature.

"I told you I'm fine." I said while grabbing his hand to pull it away. And just at that moment, the school band started to play.

Me, Olsen, Fred and George, had a small talk during that time, until everyone started coming out. Both the champions and the teachers. Without giving it much thought my eyes followed Cedric from the moment he appeared on the arena. Making me only take in the last bits of Dumbledore's speech.

And it wasn't much. Just him explaining that if anyone wanted to withdraw from the task, all they needed to do was to send red sparks into the sky with their wands. Which got me thinking, just how dangerous was this task?

I would say that the time flew by rather quickly. But in total honesty, it didn't. It took longer than expected. It's was getting cold, and the temptation of going to my dorm room, take a quick shower, and read a good book, was starting to eat my insides. If it wasn't because the feeling that something might go wrong started to build in my stomach, because of that unanswered question I had in my head, I would've be gone by now.

I waited, and had some small talk with George, while Olsen and Fred had a little world of their own. I told George how I was planning on telling Cedric about my feelings today. And with every passing second I could feel the butterflies building up in my stomach. George was smiling and cheering me on the hole time. And I couldn't help but to get embarrassed.

Soon enough, the first red spark was seen, and I couldn't help but wonder if that could have been Cedric. Even though I knew Cedric was pretty strong, I just couldn't get off my head that something wrong might've happened. A few minutes passed, and Fleur Delacour's body, was being brought from the maze. And she was unconscious.

At this my worry only grew even more. What if something happened to Cedric? Hell, what if something happened to Harry? He was only in his fourth year, and the poor kid was doing such a thing at his age. Not that he hadn't done anything worse, but still.

After that, it took a while for any notice of the rest of the contestants.

That was until Harry appeared in the middle of the arena.

Clutching onto something.

And while everyone cheered, i knew something was wrong.

That thing that harry was clutching resembled a human.

And that human.

That human was Cedric Diggory.

I'm gonna just... not comment anything in this one. The next one's the charm.
