Acquaintance
/noun\
a person one knows slightly, but who is not a close friend.
.✫*ﾟ･ﾟ｡.★.*｡･ﾟ✫･ﾟ｡.★.*｡･ﾟ✫*.
The wind brushes past,
my feet are running fast,
as if I'm chasing magic,
that I will never end up having.
The way you greet me,
so sweetly like molasses,
has captured my attention
like a wonderful indulgence.
Your narrow, sad eyes,
they look at me with worth,
like I actually matter in this world.
You never realize,
how much you mean to me,
how beautiful you are to me.
I secretly appreciate you a lot,
I idolize you,
yet you do not know that.
I'm only another human to you,
I'm only someone that you know.
A mere acquaintance that you
will never end up thinking about.
To me,
you are like a world of
the most lush plants,
the most beautiful waterfalls,
hearty, wild, tropical flowers.
And to you,
I am just another one of your
acquaintances.
