The Twilight Veil (Link X Reader)

Link and I walked inside the bedroom and silently looked around. There on the dresser sat a mirror shard. "Here is mirror... ah so pretty. Uh... pretty... mirror... lovely," The woman said happily, staring into it. I turned to Link and frowned. "Now, tell me what happened." I snapped, holding his cold hands close to my body. "Well, you collapsed on the mountain top. So then the monster guy brought you here and then I said I didn't want you to suffer. So then, I think Rocky spoke through the pendant, and asked if I wanted to switch places with you." The woman kept chanting under her breath, I ignored it. I remembered the vision I had before collapsing. I smiled to myself. "That's... sweet Link. But don't do that again, you scared the living daylights out of me." I hissed as he pulled his hands away.

"Now, let's get that mirror." Link said and turned to the woman. She twitched and mumbled under her breath. Her head turned on a swivel and she screamed. The woman's teeth extended into fangs and her eyes were blood red. The room was covered with ice as the windows shattered. Link shuddered and slowly kneeled to the floor with his blanket. "Link!" I whispered kneeling down beside him and holding him tightly. He groaned and looked up at me. "So... cold." The woman had turned into an ice mass and slammed right beside Link and I. I grabbed Link and hoisted him up. "Go!" I yelled and pulled out the ball and chain. I began to hit the woman until I broke her from the ice. "Why you little—" she was covered back in ice and more followed her. I began to shatter them and her as she dropped.

Link shivered in the corner, breathing harshly. I ran over to him and quickly passed him some soup. Ice shards fell beside me and I ran again, throwing the ball and chain at the woman. Finally I slammed her with it one last time. The ice shattered and the room was unthawed. The woman fell to the ground groaning. I stood panting with the chain in hand. The mirror floated down from the air and into my hands.

Midna bursted out from underneath Link. "Here," I said handing it to her. Midna sighed and took the piece. "Two more left guys... I feel bad how we treated her." She said looking at the mirror. "If this is the evil that possesses the mirror, just think of how many innocent people are being affected by it." She said as Link stood and walked over to me. "You did absolutely amazing (Y/n)." He said smiling. The bedroom doors flew open and there stood the man. "NOO!" He screamed and shoved Link and I to the side. I grunted and smiled down at Link before standing.

"What wrong with me?" The wife asks laying on the ground. The man lifted her up into his arms gingerly. "Very strange, you just dreaming, uh." The woman suddenly remembers and looks at the man. "Yeto! Mirror you gave..." I looked at Link. "So that's his name." I mumbled. "Forget mirror Yeta... no. Look into eyes of Yeto. Look in reflection of Yeto's eyes. There, true beauty! Who need mirror?" I smiled and took Link's hand. "So that's her name." He said giggling. "My love, uh!" She cried and the two began to hug and kiss.

Link turned to me slowly. I blushed as he grabbed me and turned me as well. "So, (Y/n).." he said slowly, taking my hands and sighing. "I've... needed to tell you something. For a while now. It's really important." He said biting his lip. "Uh, here it goes." Link grumbled and looked away blushing. I smiled softly. "What is it Link? Come on, you can tell me." I said slowly. "I know, I know." Link grumbled, Midna suddenly smacked him upside the head. "Just tell her already! We don't have all day!" Link cleared his throat and looked at me blushing.

"(Y/n), I.. really like you." He said quietly. "I like you too, Link." He growled and shook his head. "Not like that (Y/n)... I... fuck, I really really like you. Like, I love you." I blushed and smiled at Link. He smiled back and quickly rubbed the back of his head. "I, was wondering, if you felt the same. Because, if you do I'd like to ask you out. And I guess fighting things wouldn't be considered a date but it's pretty fun. And like, after all of this is over and we... we find your home maybe you'd consider staying with me and being my girlfriend?" He asked quietly.
